Liz was the absolute best to work with and you would be silly not to hire her many skills!! My only regret is that I took so long to write the review! My husband and I were married on 8/182020, one day after the island went on lockdown because of the pandemic! Like a lot of things in 2020, our wedding plans got messed up....more than once. Liz helped save the day by being kind, patient, and understanding throughout the uncertain process, and by delivering the cake (and food for the week) to an outdoor pavilion where my husband and I could have some semblance of a normal wedding experience (distanced of course)! She is phenomenally trained and all of her food was delicious. She packed us a picnic for post-wedding beach-going/celebrating which really came in handy for many many days due to the restaurant closers. Whenever we go back we will definitely get food from Liz instead of trying to grocery shop or go out to eat for the whole trip. We deeply appreciate the way Liz took care of us during a stressful time and cannot say enough positive things about her. I am looking forward to having her cake again on our anniversary!! Thank you SO MUCH Liz!!!!

Liz was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Quick to communicate and super helpful guiding me when I wasn't too sure what I wanted. Not only was the cake beautiful but SO delicious. Liz also brought hors devours that were also picture perfect and so yummy!

Elizabeth made a beautiful spread of delicious hors d’oeuvres for our welcome dinner the night before our wedding and they were absolutely fantastic! She also made our wedding cake which was perfectly light and refreshing! We would highly recommend working with her! She even helped us to find our wedding reception venue and we couldn’t have been happier!

Wedding cakes are for show, not eating, right? Wrong! The lemon cake with strawberry filling and whipped cream frosting was the best cake we’ve ever eaten! Liz is so accommodating as well. When we met with her in late fall to discuss her baking a cake for our daughter’s early June wedding, she mentioned that she usually heads back to Vermont for off season BUT decide to extend her stay for a couple more weeks to accommodate our wedding plans. She delivered the cake directly to our villa where we hosted the reception. Liz’s above and beyond service and best cake ever truly helped make this special day.

We celebrated 3 birthdays on October 13, 2 adults and a 1 year old. Liz did a cake for the 1 year old and a separate cake for the adults. Both were beautiful and delicious. In addition, Liz prepared a welcoming meal for our arrival night that was the best we had on island. We highly recommend Queen of Tarts. Very professional and a joy to work with.

We had an idea of what we wanted for our wedding cake and Liz made it a reality. She paid attention to detail, made recommendations, and we had the best looking and tasting cake we could have asked for.

She was responsive from the beginning and always making herself available to us. All of our guests complimented the savory cake and enjoyed every single piece until it was all gone! It was excellent!

Queen of Tarts provided catering for our wedding reception and our wedding cake. Everything exceeded our expectations!. The food was amazing and the staff could not have been a better fit for our party. We had a mix of attendees ranging from foodies to picky eaters to small children and there were plenty of options for everyone. Liz and her team made the evening so enjoyable. The cake was one of the best I have ever had, and I love cake! The entire experience from choosing the menu to wrapping up at the end of the night was seamless and carefree. I would recommend Queen of Tarts to anyone who loves food and an amazingly friendly chef!

Queen of Tarts came recommended by Shanna at Blue Sky Concierge, who set up my request for Key Lime pies for my beach wedding. All we had to do was pick up! The pies were delicious and held up well during transportation in the cooler. Definitely a memorable wedding dessert.
