Talented, professional string quartet!

Hiring Quartet Parapluie was the best decision we made in the months leading up to our wedding! They're incredibly talented and we loved working with them. They reached out in the weeks leading up to our wedding to make sure that the version of the songs they planned to play were exactly what we wanted- this was above and beyond what I expected when we hired them and I was blown away. I appreciated their thoughtfulness and professionalism. They made our ceremony feel so special. We highly recommend them!

I worked with Rebekah with Quartet Parapluie and I cannot say enough about how wonderful they were! Rebekah was so great and provided us with some awesome suggestions for ceremony music that would flow together, which turned out perfectly! The sting quartet was also a stunning addition to our cocktail hour. They were also able to provide us with a microphone and sound system for our officiant! Overall I would highly recommend the quartet for ceremony and cocktail hour music.

Phenomenal. It's not often that one of the most talked about parts of your wedding is the wedding music - Quartet Parapluie is the real deal. Look no further for your music needs. Easy to work with, professional, and incredible artists.

We used the Quartet Parapluie trio for our ceremony music at Newberry Library, and Melissa (cellist) was amazing to work with! Throughout the planning process, she offered a ton of music ideas and was also open to our requests. We had a song that we really wanted for the processional, and she worked with us to make it happen. We really appreciated that we were able to complete our planning via email and phone, especially during the busyness of wedding prep. After the final pre-wedding planning meeting (which was actually fun!), we felt confident that everything was in place for our ceremony music. We were right! The trio communicated with our venue to coordinate their set up, and the day of wedding went exactly as planned. There wasn’t anything my groom or I had to do besides enjoy the lovely music. I can’t stress how wonderful it was that we didn’t have to worry about one detail regarding the music – Melissa had covered everything in our planning session (and if anything came up day-of, she handled it without involving me or my groom). We highly recommend Quartet Parapluie for both their music (there’s honestly nothing like live music) and excellent client service!

As a musician, and one who has previously worked in the wedding music industry, it was important for my husband and I to have live music throughout our wedding day. We knew the first music our guests would hear would be the ceremony music, and it would really set the mood for the day. Having worked with Melissa and Quartet Parapluie during my career in weddings and events, I knew they would be the perfect group to provide ceremony music for my own wedding. Whether you’re looking for classical or popular music, they play a wide variety of both styles. We went with a mix of both classical and popular, and it was a fantastic playlist for our eclectic style. Melissa is absolutely wonderful to work with. She truly cares about the weddings in which she plays and it shows. She is friendly, professional, honest, and very helpful in making music selections. We got married on St. Patty's Day weekend and they even learned a couple Irish tunes. Our wedding was in a loft so the top of the bridal suite was open to the main area, which meant I could hear the entire prelude - part of my plan :) - and it was so beautiful. The perfect backdrop for the countdown to marrying my (now) husband. The processionals and recessional were also beautiful and they adjusted the timing perfectly for a very short aisle, and a fast-walking nervous bride :) I HIGHLY recommend Quartet Parapluie, from a standpoint as both a wedding professional and a client. The group is incredibly talented, friendly, and professional and their rates are extremely reasonable. I can honestly say the ceremony, and especially the music, was one of my favorite parts of our entire wedding day. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with QP over the years and I’m not surprised they have such positive feedback from all of their clients – they are simply fantastic!

Our guest could not stop raving about how beautiful the quartet music was and how it made our wedding that much more special! The quartet was very willing to play whatever type of music we asked for, be it the Beatles, Coldplay, or classical! And you can't beat the price! Such great service without taking a second mortgage out on your house!

We loved working with Melissa from Quartet Parapluie! We knew we wanted a string trio perform for our wedding ceremony (they give the option of quartet or trio) and they came highly recommended by another vendor that was not available on our date. Melissa was amazing to work with and gave us plenty of suggestions and options for songs based on the style of music we wanted, and they executed beautifully on our big day. She was exceptionally organized and contacted our officiant and wedding planner independently to ensure that they were all on the same page. Our guests were blown away and thought it was just lovely. My only disappointment is that as the bride I didn't hear much of their performance since I was the last one into the ceremony and first one out! I am so thankful we chose Quartet Parapluie :)

The very best string quartet available. Period! Michelle was a joy to work with and made the entire process so easy on my husband and I. So many of our quests commented on how beautiful our ceremony music was. Not only did they play our ceremony but also our cocktail hour afterwards and it was just as amazing as the ceremony. They even learned some new music especially for our wedding. My father and I are huge David Bowie fans and they were able to take some Bowie classics and spin them into beautiful string versions. They also learned the song "We Had Today" from the movie "One Day" as the song I walked down the aisle to even though there was no available music tabs. This was an off the wall, somewhat last minute request and their version sounded just as lovely as the movie version. Everything was so perfect. They made wonderful music choice suggestions and helped my husband and I out in every step of the process when we really needed it. I will (and have) recommend this quirky quartet to anyone getting married. Go listen to them play one of their live concerts and you will see how great they are.

Melissa Bach and the members of Quartet Parapluie can not be matched. Choosing to book them for my wedding was one of the best decisions I made. Melissa was extremely responsive to all my emails and requests. She even came to my home to discuss music selection and make suggestions. It was really nice to meet her prior to my event. They arrived early the day of the wedding and began playing as soon as they were set up all the way through till the last row of guests were dismissed. People commented how wonderful they were after my wedding. They were so professional and easy to work with. I was wonderful to be so confident with the quartet's work. They added so much to my wedding day. Thank you so much Melissa! I can not speak highly enough of your work.

Melissa and team were an absolute pleasure to work with! Their repertoire is quite impressive. I loved how they were able to adapt the Beatles' Michelle for our ceremony. They're the ultimate professionals - you won't be sorry!
