They are the best. There worth every penny. We had Doug(the owner) he is truely a class act. our guest loved him and he was so interactive during our reception. he went above and beyond what we expected.

Doug Bermick was a great DJ for our ceremony and reception! We were absolutely impressed with your service; you took care of everything from the coordination of the events to getting drinks for the head table. We received so many compliments from our family and friends, and the dance floor was packed the entire night. You played all of our requests and our guests said they had a great time and we feel that you were a big part of this! TY!

Great job ushering the night along. Actually took time to get to know us and made the narriative of the night more personal.

AWESOME DJ!!!!! He was the best. He entertained everyone of all ages at our reception. I still have people asking me what DJ I had at our reception.

Doug was very helpful in planning our reception, very outgoing and fun. Our family and guests loved Doug! We loved the uplighting and he played our requests and played our guests requests. Excellent DJ- he went above and beyond our expectations!

Professional Sounds did a great job at wedding reception. They played a mix of the music we wanted and incorporated a cd we made with spanish music. Doug Bermick was very quick to respond to emails and phone calls and very thorough. Only dissapointment was that we intially thought Doug would be our DJ on our wedding day and ended up getting a different DJ. So please verify that you are getting Doug.

I used Profession Sounds for my wedding in May of 2014. They were very professional and asked a lot of questions so that they could make their playlist fit the feel of our wedding. I had a sit-down meeting with Doug months before the wedding that lasted at least an hour. It took a lot of time but that also meant every bridesmaid and groomsmen was introduced properly and they knew all the do's and don'ts for our reception. I was strongly under the impression that Doug, the man I had worked with for almost a year, would be our DJ but he wasn't the one who showed up. However, I was so incredibly pleased with the DJ (Rod, I think) who worked with us. WOW! He was great! I think better than Doug would have been. He met us outside in the freezing cold to make sure we were all ready to be introduced and ran through things with me, and then during our buffet style dinner he met me at the end of the serving line and carried my plate back to my seat. Above and beyond for sure!

We felt that our DJ did a nice job of making sure the songs WE wanted were played and the ones we didn't want were not, even if people requested them. We got comments from people that the music was nice, but also got some comments from guests about comments made to them (off the microphone of course) that were not so professional. We got a phenomenal deal on the price and had fun picking out the music. All in all I would say we had an average experience with this company.

We chose our wedding DJ, Doug Bermick with professional sounds. He has a great radio DJ voice and was very responsive and friendly. What was disappointing though, was he had us make him a playlist of all of our favorite songs/music/things we wanted played at the wedding, which we spent a lot of time doing for him. But then multiple times we had to ask him to change the music as he wasn't playing the playlist we gave him or the songs we asked for him to play. Due to time restraints we also had to cut some things, skip some things and rearrange things during the reception. He had a hard time with us changing things in the moment, as he would announce the schedule item by item, and we had to ask multiple times for him not to do that as we were needing to work around time constraints and were not going to do certain things anymore. We had also specifically requested that any music he played to be the clean not explicit versions as we didn't want any inappropriate music playing. We were told by upset guests that there were explicit songs playing. He also went up to my mother and father during the reception telling them he was ready to be paid, even though his job wasn't finished yet and we were in the middle of the reception.

As with many other reviews, we also had the same experience that we thought Doug would be our DJ and I had spent multiple hours talking about the fine details with Doug and how important it was to introduce my parents. Doug even pressured me into providing my aunt and dad's cell phone number to make sure there was someone available to unlock the hall from 1:30-2 the day of the wedding. Well... my aunt came back to me, the bride, at the church at 3 and no one had arrived!!! I called Doug and he responded, " well unless they were in a serious car accident they are on the way"....This is completely unacceptable for the bride to be having family waiting over and hour and a half for the DJ to show up after be hounded about making sure I had family members waiting on them.

Secondly, when we did arrive to the reception the DJ, who was NOT DOUG (I had never met this man and he did not introduce himself to us), told my parents and parents-in-law that they were not to be introduced and to go sit down. My mother-in-law said that they were to be introduced and he argued with her about it until he "checked his list" and realized they were to be introduced....

Thirdly, the DJ played all of our "requests" during dinner hour...even if it was hip hop/rap/etc... not what we had wanted.

Finally, he talked over my brother singing during the cake cutting and introduced my dad as my father in law's last name for the prayer.

What was the point of going over everything for endless hours with Doug when he was not the DJ and this DJ did NOT do his homework....

Sigh.. it's sad because Doug was very responsive and helpful in the beginning but we ended up with a bad experience overall.
