The Princeton String Quartet played recently on our patio for a small home wedding.
The elegant group played our selections with musical panache and care for the precise timing of the processional, recessional and background music for the arrival of the guests.
We were unable to meet in person before the event but suggestions about the music, placement of the quartet and bridal entrance details were all discussed over the phone.
The manager/player both listened carefully to our suggestions and offered some when asked. The group even arranged a popular song we wanted for string quartet.
We will hire them again for our first anniversary party!

Music from the Princeton String Quartet helped make our wedding day perfect. We met in person with the friendly player/manager - over tea and cookies - and discussed our wedding plans and type of music wanted. In addition to possible music selections, she asked about our musical taste and preferences for before the ceremony, the ceremony itself, and the cocktail hour. We asked them to play both well-known classical selections and a romantic pop song for the reception. They performed everything with enthusiasm and musical panache. The Princeton String Quartet is a musical class act.

The advice on music selection was invaluable, the performance was spectacular! They're a bit pricey, but you will not regret having the Princeton String Quartet provide accompaniment to your ceremony and/or cocktail hour. Highly recommend!

The music was perfect. We used them during our cocktail hour. They played so you could hear it well and also hold a conversation with out having to raise your voice.

I was very surprised that the string duo just up and left before our officiant announced us husband and wife. I was expecting them to atleast play music as we walked off from the crowd but it was just an awkward silence as we walked off and they were no where to be found. We were not expecting that. I am rating them poor due to the unprofessionalism and the lack of communication. To leave without informing us was not okay. And the fact they they had no interest in introducing themselves to the groom when they arrived was even more disheartening. They were clearly there for the check and nothing more. Overall, not what we expected when we hired them. We were better off hiring classical music students who would have atleast wanted to play.
