Laura and her team were so professional, sweet, and easy to work with. On our first call, we were so impressed by Laura's expertise and knowledge as she explained different floral and greenery options based on seasonal availability and price. She was also willing to work with our budget (some other florists in the SF area required us to spend a minimum or told us that we needed to increase our budget by 100%-300%!). From there, it was smooth sailing. Throughout the process, Laura was so responsive to our millions of questions and so flexible whenever we proposed a change. She made tons of helpful recommendations when my husband and I were stuck.

All of the flowers and greenery were stunning and perfect on our wedding day! I absolutely LOVED everything, especially my bouquet, which included white dahlias, blush astilbe, and eucalyptus, just as I had dreamed. Everything was exactly what we had envisioned: simple, elegant, and just the right amount to complement and accentuate our already ornate venue. My family and friends loved taking home the arrangements at the end of the night.

Laura from Poppy's Petalworks is absolutely amazing! I met with her and had a little vision of what I wanted for the wedding, but she was able to take what I gave her and make it into exactly what I wanted. To be honest, I am not a huge flower person and I didn't want to spend a lot of money on flowers since they aren't super important to me. Laura was great at staying within my budget and working with me to make repurpose my mason jars with baby's breath from the ceremony aisle to use as part of my table centerpieces instead of needing double the mason jars and double to flowers. I rented the arbor from her and she made garland to go across it and she also made garland to go across the welcome sign. They both looked beautiful. At the time when I hired her, I didn't have a wedding coordinator and so she had agreed and on the day of, put together the table centerpieces (wood rounds, wine bottles with fairy lights, mason jars with baby's breath, one white pumpkin and a wood table number sign). My bouquet was exactly what I wanted it to be and I couldn't have been happier. Laura was always quick to respond to any e-mail that I sent her and great about getting me a quote and adjusting as needed. Laura did such an amazing job and I am so happy with how all of the flowers the day of turned out. I would recommend Poppy's Petalworks to anybody looking for a professional and wonderful florist to work with for their wedding!

Laura did flowers for our wedding at Ritz in SF ans she was exceeding all expectations. She gets the bride and works with her in timely manner. I also ordered a different type of bouquet since my husband is Aussie I wanted to suprise him and Laura moved the earth to get the flowers for me. I was not worried for a second and things looked so beautifully! Can not recommend more!

Our wedding flowers could not possibly have been more perfect. If you’re looking for breathtaking flower arrangements to perfectly match your vision, search no further! Laura of Poppy’s Petalworks is an absolute professional and complete dream to work with. During our first phone consultation, Laura listened very closely to what we wanted and followed up with a detailed proposal outlining every item and its cost. What truly sold me with Laura, however, was the length she went to in order to help us stay within our floral budget. Laura brainstormed ways to reduce the bottom line without compromising the vision. The final product was outstanding, and I was exceedingly impressed with Laura’s ability to repurpose items from the ceremony for the reception. The pew arrangements were recycled for cocktail hour centerpieces, and the garland of eucalyptus, hydrangeas, and tulips used on the altar during the ceremony was efficiently repurposed as the garland for the head table. Laura handled the transportation of flowers from a morning ceremony to an afternoon reception exceptionally smoothly, completely freeing me of any logistical concerns. In the end, Laura completed our wedding vision, helped us stay within budget, and totally “wowed” us with her accommodating personality and talent. Hire Laura, she is every bride’s dream when it comes to wedding flowers!!!

Laura did the flowers for our March 2013 wedding. Both the flowers and the service were absolutely wonderful and exactly what we were hoping for and expected. Laura is a talented artist who at the same time runs a great business.

Our initial meeting was super informative, we had some ideas about color but didn't know what kind of flowers we liked. Laura showed us tons of ideas and gave us multiple ways to stay within our budget. She also prepared multiple quotes at different price points for us to pick from, tailored it exactly to what we wanted, and gave us everything clearly broken down and in writing.

On the day of the wedding, we barely saw her and it was as if all these wonderful decorations magically appeared. Laura also handled some fabric rentals, coordination with our ceremony venue, and moving flowers from a first location to a second (which saved us a bunch of money). The arrangements themselves were beyond what we expected and held up perfectly throughout the night and then some.

Laura is fantastic! When my husband and I first met her, we weren't quite sure of what we wanted. I told her a few things I absolutely hated and loved and from there she was able to put together a vision of our wedding flowers.

She answered every question patiently and did any amazing job with our budget. She sent us lists of seasonal flowers and their approximate price range so that we could choose what was important to us. She also allowed us to refine our flower requests up until the week before the wedding. She has a fantastic eye and created a chic, modern, and romantic look for our day. What a fantastic florist!!

Laura of Poppy's Petalworks was wonderful in every way. She is friendly, approachable, extremely responsive both to correspondence as well as to your ideas, visions, requests for your floral plan for the day. She went way beyond the call of duty to help make sure we had the desired floral color palette for the day and even helped our friends decorate our limo when they had trouble on the big day! She was extremely respectful of our budget and frequently offered ways to adjust the floral plan to help us stay within budget. On top of this, she's extremely artistic and talented, with a new, modern style that is both different and elegant. You won't be disappointed--she's great!
