We cannot rave enough about Annie - She came highly recommended from a friend, and fortunately was fairly close in location to our venue. We reached out to her on short notice due to planning our wedding in less than 2 months time, and she responded right away with all of her information. How blessed we were to have been able to book her. I absolutely love her clean, modern photography style! From the very beginning it was a joy to work with her; she was very organized and responsive, and the questionnaire she gave us to fill out before the wedding was so thorough and absolutely touched on every detail of plans for our wedding day and the photography moments that were important for us to have captured. On the day of the wedding, she worked quickly and with ease; most of the time we didn't even notice her or her assistant as they blended into the background so well. She was patient and kind during our family wedding photos and worked so well with everyone. We would most definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a stunning, professional, well-priced photographer to capture any of your special moments!

I can't say enough good things about Penelope Anne Photography! I'll start from the beginning: We searched DC/MD/VA photographers and the prices were insane. Annie's prices were so reasonable that it was more affordable for us to fly her to DC for our wedding and pay her to photograph our day. Before the wedding, Annie did a great job of making the planning super easy for us. She sent a questionnaire about the schedule, the pictures we wanted, the names of wedding party and families (genius - she knew everyone's names and didn't have to yell and point at people trying to organize our groups), and our phone calls were simple and to the point. There were a lot of things that I knew I wanted pictures of but I couldn't figure out the logistics (first look, specific party pictures), and even though she was from out of town Annie scoped everything out beforehand and took care of all of it for us. I just told her what I wanted and she made it all happen.

We had 2 shooters and both did an incredible job. We had them do our rehearsal dinner and wedding (I highly highly recommend a rehearsal dinner photographer we are SO thankful we have these pictures!), and there wasn't a single moment that I was looking for them to catch a moment. Between the two of them, they were everywhere.

Our families and everyone in the wedding party adored Annie and Paul. A lot of us have been in weddings with photographers who are stressed or snobby or annoyed with our group, but Annie and Paul were so patient with us and SO much fun. I definitely recommend going with the two shooters option.

We just got our pictures back and I actually cried going through them. Annie and Paul did an amazing job capturing all the fun, love, craziness, and partying. We were concerned about the party pictures because we have been to a lot of fun weddings where the pictures don't do the party part justice, but that was NOT the situation with this. They truly caught all the fun and hilarious moments.

Annie is amazing! I was looking for a very specific type of photography at a very specific price. She worked with me and customized a package to fit my budget. She took my ideas and exceeded them far beyond what I hoped for. So far i've just done my engagement session with her, and every single photo was absolutely perfect! Our wedding is booked for May and i'm confident that Annie will do just as fabulous. You will be so happy you choose her :)

She was wonderful! Not rushed like other photographers do. Pictures came out beautiful, elegant and very classy. I had tons of pictures taken for a very very good price! I would definitely go to her for my kids pictures every year and will also recommend her to everyone!
