Pembroke Pines is a beautiful venue. We hosted our wedding here in October 2025 and the foliage at the ceremony site was breathtaking. They are a fairly new venue and while the property is gorgeous, the communication and coordination by the staff could use improvement before I can fully recommend working with them.

The day-of coordinator we were assigned by Pembroke Pines displayed poor communication skills and lack of professionalism throughout the wedding planning process and wedding day. There were several instances leading up to the wedding where we were told costs had changed since signing our contract, despite us having these various items in writing. We were able to get them to honor some of these contract terms (with a lot of back and forth discussion), but others were not honored at the original prices.

On our wedding day, there was a second wedding going on that we were not told about in advance. As a result, we were unable to communicate this to our florist and other vendors who arrived early to set up, and had to wait for this wedding to finish. Mind you, we were told we were not even allowed to have our rehearsal the day prior to our wedding because of another wedding going on that day that deserved their full attention. Before and during our reception, our day-of coordinator was quite unprofessional. They made several negative comments about close family members of the bride and groom, other clients of Pembroke Pines, and vendors they worked with. They also played a prank on two of our wedding guests by kicking them out of our wedding as a joke (something we would’ve never wanted done at our wedding).

Again, the venue is gorgeous and we still had a beautiful wedding, but we hope the team can work to improve their communication and professionalism to improve the experience for future couples.
