Payne Anthony Creative Jewelers is a gem among jewelry stores. I had planned on designing my wedding rings, but instead found a unique engagement ring and wedding band that I fell in love with. The jeweler worked within my budget constraints and I now wear the rings I dreamed of. The outstanding personalized service has made me a customer for life.

We purchased both of our wedding rings at Payne Anthony. The staff are very friendly and encourage you to try on every single ring if necessary to find the one you love. Both of our rings are beautiful and unique. They have a great selection, many of the settings more unique than other jewelers we had looked at. I highly recommend them and know we will be using them as our jewelers from now on.

My fiance did not purchase my ring from Payne Anthony, as he gave me his mother's engagement ring, but we went there to get it resized. The service was awesome and I was able to have my ring back on my finger within a weeks time. When we went to pick it up, I was also given cleaning fluid and a ring pouch in a "Swag bag" as a bonus for choosing them! We also were able to then look at rings for my fiance and were not pressured to buy anything that day. I was a great experience and I will return for my future jewelry needs!

My husband really wanted to use Payne Anthony to purchase our wedding rings. We went in several times and always received very helpful and kind customer service. My husband was very particular about what kind of ring he wanted to buy for me - he wanted a custom ring that had a lot of symbolism in it. He spent a lot of time thinking about the design and importance behind this ring and even drafted up several sketches and digital proofs of what he wanted the ring to look like. We took these in to Payne Anthony to have it custom made. We worked with them for quite a while back and forth - it was kind of a drawn out process. Eventually, my husband got frustrated that the designer kept saying that what my husband wanted done for my ring was not possible and the drafts that they came back with were nothing close to what he was envisioning. During this time, I had already ordered and purchased his wedding band, which he loves although it was quite pricey, as well as we had also ordered a loose sapphire gemstone. The gemstone was reasonably priced. We probably could have found a very similar wedding band for a bit cheaper somewhere else; I was quoted one price but I was charged another, higher price. Overall, Payne Anthony isn't a terrible jeweler but we didn't really enjoy our experience with them. I would say keep your expectations in check when it comes to their custom ring process.

THE WORST service of any jeweler I've ever contacted. My fiancé and I went in to view a collection by a designer that's not offered anywhere else in the state. We spoke with Meri who seemed as enthusiastic as we were at the time. We were looking for a specific design (which she didn't even know they had until we spotted it). THAT DAY we requested a wax for the ring so we could see what it looked like with a different shaped diamond. She stated she would contact them and let us know as soon as possible. Four weeks later, and after many emails, which felt like badgering, as Meri was very sporadic and unreliable in her responses (we pretty much had to beg her to take our money), we finally got the wax. And it looked like crap. There's no way that came from the designer. On top of that, they tried to sell us a diamond that could euphemistically be called overpriced. They must not have thought we'd do our research. A friend of mine warned me about them, since she had a similarly awful experience, and I wish I would have listened. Now we're just frustrated and out $150. Don't waste your time and money, go somewhere else.
