I badly wanted letterpress invitations, but a whole invitation set was out of the budget. We found Amy in St. Louis (where my parents live) and exchanged a few emails. I had created the invitation design and just needed them printed. Amy was will to make invitations with my design and we set up a meeting. Her studio was really neat, and she took the time to show us how her printing presses worked. It was so neat to learn from her – I would love to take one of her workshops. She was very professional and friendly and her prices were fair and affordable. She custom mixed the ink color we requested and the invitations turned out beautifully. I could not be happier with the quality and service we received. I only wish our budget was larger so we could have had her do the entire suite.

Amy went above and beyond to make my invitations a success. She is incredibly patient and kind, and an excellent listener. I especially appreciated the back and forth we had during the design process-- she had an uncanny ability to understand, and put into the design, exactly what I wanted but couldn't quite envision on my own.

Also, Amy deserves to be recognized for her last-minute problem-solving ability, and grace under fire. As it turned out, we ordered too few invitations for the ultimate guest list. She dug through her studio and scraped together enough good extras to fill out the order, and did not even charge us extra for her significant efforts. She is a joy to work with, and I would recommend her services to anyone looking for beautiful letterpress from a reliable, affordable, and local source.
