History
In 1989, a group of individuals held meetings to develop a concept plan for a residential field science center in the Arkansas Ozarks. These meetings resulted in the creation of the Ozark Natural Science Center in 1990. By 1994, the Ewing Centre was complete along with housed administrative offices, the kitchen, and the dining hall. Today, their school-based programming allows them to offer hands-on, experiential field science opportunities to students from northwest and central Arkansas, as well as weddings and events.
