Owl’s Nest Resort provides a beautiful, open-air, mountain setting for your wedding day. Ceremonies can be held on the expansive West Lawn, adjacent to our Clubhouse. Or, ceremonies can be held at our new space, The LakeHouse!
Owl’s Nest has always been a place for family and friends to gather & celebrate. We are New England’s Premier Wedding Destination offering dozens of luxury accommodations, New Hampshire’s only Nicklaus Golf Course, outdoor pool, activity center, walking trails, and all of the activities New Hampshire’s White Mountains and Lakes Regions have to offer.

For Ceremonies held on the West Lawn:
following the ceremony, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres can be enjoyed on our patios and gardens surrounded by panoramic mountain views. Dinner & dancing take place under our magnificent custom Sperry Sailcloth tent. We have several venues available to host rehearsal dinners, post-wedding brunches, and more.
For Ceremonies held at The LakeHouse:
The LakeHouse at Owl’s Nest Resort is a modern and luxurious space that will beautifully accommodate events of any style. Located partially on land and over Lake Harold, its natural light, rustic elements, and a wrap-around deck boast beautiful waterfront views of the White Mountains. With space to accommodate 220 guests it is the perfect location for a wedding or corporate event. Where lakeside charm meets mountain elegance.
Facilities and Capacity
The on-site restaurant - Panorama Six82 - is a wonderful venue for you to have a rehearsal dinner or bridal shower. It also offers gourmet cuisine and premium cocktails in a casual yet elegant atmosphere. The outdoor location - the tented pavilion at Owl’s Nest Resort - has stunning views of the golf course and is sure to add style and class to your wedding event. You will be able to accommodate up to 220 people at either event location.

Gail Batstone is our Director of Sales. She is the newest member of the Owl’s Nest Sales and Event Team but is no stranger to events! She has been working in the hospitality business for over 35 years, most recently as General Manager of the Mill Falls at the Lake in Meredith for 22 years. Her passion lies in guiding clients such as bridal couples and meeting planners to ensure their vision is exceeded. She has thousands of exciting events under her planning tiara!
Gail is also passionate about the industry that she works within and is the Chairwoman of the Board of the New Hampshire and Lodging Association, Board Member of Lakes Region Tourism Association, and volunteers her time at various community organizations.
In her free time, Gail enjoys yoga, hiking, kayaking, and all things furry!

Amy McCoil is our Event Sales and Catering Manager. She joined the Owl’s Nest team in 2019 after a move from Rhode Island to New Hampshire. She brings over 15 years of hospitality experience from OceanCliff Hotel in Newport, RI. Amy has coordinated weddings that were featured in Newport Wedding Magazine, Southern New England Weddings, and The Knot. She takes pride in her relationships with clients and vendors and understands the intricacies that go into making a wedding run smoothly.
She believes good food and music are what make a wedding memorable! Her favorite moment of the wedding day is the minutes right before the bride walks down the aisle; all the hard work and labors of love have come to fruition! When not on the grounds of the resort, she enjoys exploring the White Mountains with her husband, two kids, and golden retriever and also spending time in Rhode Island with her extended family.
