The Oregon Historical Society museum was a wonderful venue for our wedding. There are indoor and outdoor spaces available for event rental and the prices are very reasonable. We rented the terrace (small, outside), the plaza (large, outside) and the Pavilion (large, indoors) for a group of 120 and were well accommodated. The location is in the Park Blocks in downtown Portland, near lots of hotels and restaurants which make it easy to host out-of-town guests. We had both the ceremony and reception/dinner at the museum and it was nice not to worry about shuffling people from one location to another. Their exclusive caterer is the Heathman, which works out well because the food is good and the Heathman staff knows the venue well. We had a wonderful time!
