Susie stumbled into wedding invitation design after she received numerous requests for her whimsical and charming illustration style. From there, the invitation business was a natural progression.

Susie is an award winning artist, illustrator, and graphic designer. She completed her BFA at the University of Colorado before moving to New York City, where she worked and studied for over ten years. Susie did graduate work towards an MS in Visual Communications at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn and worked at the Whitney Museum, the Brooklyn Children’s Museum, and the Bronx Zoo. In the mid-‘90s, Turner Broadcast recruited her to be the Design Director of their children’s book publishing division, which led to a move to Atlanta, Ga. Susie still resides in Atlanta, but enjoys traveling to Mexico with her husband frequently.

While Josie now resides in Athens, Ga, she grew up in Atlanta, surrounded by her mother’s artwork. Josie has a natural eye for design and an entrepreneurial spirit. In her free time she enjoys being in nature; walking or relaxing on her patio with her husband and two cats.
