Oliver Kita catered my wedding at Boscobel House & Gardens in Garrison, NY, and five stars just doesn't do him justice! Oliver was one of the first vendors I chose more than a year before my wedding day, and from beginning to end he was a pleasure to work with and 100% on top of every detail. From the food to the rentals to the layout and flow of the wedding, he and his staff anticipated everything I needed, gave helpful advice every step of the way, and made my now-husband and I feel like royalty. Most importantly, the food at our wedding was incredible! Absolutely everyone raved about it, from the bounty of delicious hors d'oeuvres at the cocktail hour to the decadent dessert table that ended the night, all of which was beautifully and artistically presented. The level of service and commitment to perfection that Oliver and his staff displayed throughout the wedding process and on our wedding day just floored me. I can't recommend Oliver Kita highly enough!

My husband and I have lived in Manhattan for many years and we’ve grown accustomed to how easy it is to find excellent food in NYC, so when we decided to get married in the Hudson River Valley it was really important to us to find a caterer who would make delicious, creative food (not easy when mass-producing for over 100 people).

Everything Oliver produced exceeded our already high expectations (based on the awesome tastings we had done pre-wedding). I know our guests absolutely loved it because we got so many compliments - not just general comments like "the food is great" or "the food is amazing" (though we got a lot of those) but also really specific comments like "the cheeses were pure heaven", "I ate one of everything on the dessert table and they were all perfect" and "I've never been to a wedding where the entrees were like going to a great restaurant in the City".

Also, the range of wedding cake options is phenomenal – we chose lemon thyme cake w/dulce de leche filling and ivory cream frosting and loved it, but there were so many great options.

Oliver leads an impressive team, all of whom made the entire day / evening smooth and enjoyable. The service was of the highest level.

We ordered our wedding favors from this fine chocolatier. Our guests raved. Pricey, but good quality.

We have had Oliver Kita chocolates before when my husband got them for valentines day one year and I am a big chocoholic. So I thought it would be a great idea to have these chocolates for my wedding favors and give our guests something made in the hudson valley. Oliver was very easy to work with on our initial meeting to discuss box types and initial cost per item. He sent us sample boxes in the mail and he even used our own monograms to put stickers on the boxes and purple ribbon/bows to go with my color theme. We picked out 2 chocolate flavors for each box and they were delicious. The only negative was that they didn't make all the boxes we paid for so they had to give us a small refund. This was ok since we had enough for all our guests.
