Old Davie School Historical Museum offers a unique, historic venue. Old Davie School provides you full freedom to choose the caterers, photographers, musicians, or florist that perfectly match your mood and taste. This flexibility allows you to tailor your event to your budget.
We have 2 venues available for rental.
The Auditorium holds up to 175 people and comes with round tables and mahogany chivari chairs. In addition, you get set up time prior to your event and an hour after to clean up. There is a Chickee Hut on the patio and it is included with this room rental.
The Cafetorium has a room capacity of 150 people and includes rectangle tables and banquet chairs. This room has an elevated stage and a full kitchen.
To hold the date – a 50% deposit is required. No later than 30 days prior to your event the balance of the contract is due + applicable refundable security deposit. The renter is required to supply general liability insurance and include host liquor liability if alcohol is being served.
Venue tours are available on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 10-4. Please call or email for an appointment.

Old Davie School Venue
Kris and Cindy at the Old Davie School Historical Museum (ODSHM) are absolutely wonderful. I had a list of venues lined up for the day but, after visiting the venue and chatting with them, we canceled all of our other tours, went back, and booked the same day. Kris is extremely personable and made us feel special. She asked us questions about ourselves and genuinely felt interested in getting to know us and our story. Kris and Cindy answered any and all questions I had and provided accommodations and solutions to any issues that arose. ODSHM has two venues to choose from with a host of outdoor photo opportunities. I just really liked the feel of the venue for the kind of wedding reception my fiancé and I are looking for. If you are hosting an event, getting married, etc., then go and take a look! Even if you do not book with them, I have a feeling you will not be disappointed!

Beautiful, Unique and reasonably priced venue!
We wanted a venue in south Florida that wasn’t a beach or a hotel and are really glad we found old davie school. Both the indoor and outdoor areas of the venue are beautiful, and Kris was great to work with. The venue is also really reasonably priced, especially given that they provide chairs for the ceremony and chairs and tables for the reception/cocktail hour. Unfortunately there was a threat of rain on our wedding day and the ceremony had to be moved to the cocktail hour area, but the venue handled the sudden change seamlessly. We would strongly recommend the old davie school!
