Food was amazing. All my guests made it a point to tell me how great the food tasted, I had salad, chicken alfredo & lasagna from Nouveau.

We hired Paulette Martin/ Nouveau Pastries and Catering to provide full service catering for my daughter’s wedding reception. She was highly recommended to us by a very close friend of the groom’s mother, so we didn’t look elsewhere. Our initial and only meeting with her went very well (albeit she arrived quite late), and we came away feeling as though we had struck gold. However, our experience left us wondering if we were the first wedding she had catered. She arrived late to the venue and was rushing to have things ready, as evidenced by the appearance of the bride’s and groom’s cakes (sloppy icing, icing seams in front, bride’s cake on piece of square cardboard that hung over a round stand, top tier of groom’s was cake slightly smaller than the cake topper, etc.). The main meal service (a buffet) was not very fancy in appearance, was very slow, and her servers denied our guests additional food when requested (they kind of reminded me of grumpy servers in a school cafeteria). Guests’ water glasses were not refilled in a timely manner. The groom’s chicken was not completely cooked, and the mashed potatoes had a peculiar and unpleasant taste. When I provided this feedback to Paulette shortly after the event, she was full of sophomoric, invalid excuses and said if she could “go back”, she would “do everything in her power to ensure that every detail was perfect.” Unfortunately, you can’t redo a wedding reception!!!
To her credit, Paulette is a very nice, sweet, and energetic woman. The cakes, desserts, and sweets that she made were by far THE BEST I have ever tasted and, aside from the disappointing appearance of the bride’s and groom’s cakes, the other confections she made were beautiful and VERY elegantly displayed. We had a cocktail hour with hors d’oeurves prior to the main meal; the hors d’oeuvres, also made by Paulette, were superb and the service during that hour was excellent. Finally, Paulette’s pricing is very reasonable.

This is the place to go for a cake! but not for catering I had a heavy hor dereve?? menu and there was not enough food for my guests I barley got anything to eat at all! I had stuffed mushrooms that were the size of pencil erasers. We discussed at the consultation this was a dinner time reception and I needed enough food to fill everyones bellies... I would not recommed this place to anyone unless you were just getting a cake that was yummy! When i complained I got no apologies only excuses dont go here for your food A WASTE OF MONEY
