My experience with the MAC is very mixed. IT is a beautiful venue with lots of possibilities. And I loved having my wedding there. It's a great place becuase you don't need a lot of decoration (and they have a lot of rules against them). It has a lot of beautiful architectural and natural elements that lend themselves to a very natural, simple elegance.

However, my first coordinator at the MAC got laid-off. That wasn't such a big deal since she never showed up to our first meeting and rarely returned emails and phone calls. Our next coordinator called the three days before our wedding and told us it was her last day, and she didn't know who was in charge. Not cool. She did mention that she had given her two week's notice, so why we weren't informed, I don't know. Then, they put the CFO in charge, so we had to go over ALL the details again. And no one ever contacted us. We had to rush to the museum as soon as we found and waited for 45 minutes for anyone to meet with us. I don't know what would have happened if we hadn't gone in. THEN, the CFO put someon else in charge the day before our wedding who didn't have any of the correct information, so we reviewed all the information for a fourth. Now, he did a great job, but the lack of professionalism within the organization was mind-boggling.

Also, we left stuff at the museum, and I couldn't get anyone to call me back for three weeks to see if anything was in the lost and found! When I finally got someone on the phone, she told to hurry and come get my stuff because they couldn't hold it forever! Yikes!
