We, adults in our 60s, knew we would marry someday and decided that 2018 would be the year. We suddenly decided to marry on an anniversary that is very special for us and had just two weeks to make it happen! I had always wanted to be married at the Ahwahnee Hotel (now Majestic) and I don’t think it could have turned out more perfectly! The wedding party was the two of us, a couple who are friends, and Christel.

We searched for an officiant on the web and found Christel. I just knew she was the right person and was so happy that she was available and enthusiastic about being part of our special day. We answered a brief questionnaire and she provided a script for our ceremony that included everything we wanted, in the first draft! We had made a special request that we weren’t sure would be possible and she found a perfect quotation which captured the sentiment we wanted.

Christel was wonderful. She was warm, calming, fun, and professional. We are very happy to have found her.

Christel was a true blessing, officiating my husband and my 4/29/18 Yosemite elopement. She was patient, kind, sweet, magical, and she genuinely listened to what was important to us in ceremony. Highly recommended!
