My husband and I booked with Nicole back in February of 2020. Nicole is not only a photographer but also the owner of a stunning wedding venue, The Ivy Rose Barn, in the heart of Rocky Mount VA. She was so attentive to details with not only her photography but the venue as well (as seen in pictures). Her husband David was also kind and accommodating when showing the venue and assisting with day of coordination/photography. While Covid threw in a few curve balls, both for us and for the venue, our special day in May 2022 was well worth it. Our guests could not stop raving gorgeous every inch of the venue was and how beautiful her film photography is.

Truly amazing photographer. My wife and I still get compliments on our photos 2 years after our wedding. Nicole was one of the highlights of our wedding experience.

Nicole was the perfect partner to capture our wedding celebrations! From our intimate family-only civil ceremony in the Outer Banks, to our larger, family and friends celebration in England, Nicole made us feel right at ease and blended with our family and friends right away - even joining us for some of the games and fun! During the ceremony and speeches, Nicole and David were practically 'invisible'; we were so surprised when we got the final photos as they had captured so many special candid moments when we weren't even aware! We are absolutely thrilled with the final photos...there so many we will treasure the rest of our lives.
The format in which they were delivered to us also has made it really easy to view and to share with our family and friends. We loved the fact that Nicole shot on film (as well as digital); these have made for some special photos we wanted to print and hang.

Nicole is hands down one of the most talented, hardworking, experienced, and dedicated film photographers in the wedding industry. Not only is she extremely professional and responsive, she has an exquisite eye for detail that every bride dreams of. I had been following Nicole on social media for several months before hiring her and just knew I had to have her as my wedding photographer. For the level of service and quality of photos she delivers, you would expect her to charge way more than she actually does. She truly cares about her work, really attempts to understand the bride/couples’ vision, and curates the most ethereal, timeless, quality wedding photo collection for her brides. We got to know Nicole and her husband, David, throughout our wedding planning and they are truly wonderful, talented people who go above and beyond for their clients. They arrived early on the day of my wedding and Nicole spent several hours painstakingly taking the most perfect detail shots while we were getting ready, even though this was well beyond what we were paying her for. I also had two ceremonies built into my wedding (one Indian and one Jewish) and Nicole shot countless images for both despite the fact that it was essentially double the work for her without charging me double the amount! I still get compliments to this day (almost a year after my wedding) about how beautiful my engagement and wedding photos are. I plan to use Nicole for any and all of my photography needs moving forward. There’s no one else I’d rather have capturing the most important moments of my life!

Where to start!?! I hired Nicole over a year ago and had plans to get Married In April, due to the Covid-19 virus my 250 guest wedding had to be postponed to a later date in the year! We were so thankful that Nicole was available, so accommodating and was so helpful during this crazy time in our lives. We had a private ceremony with just our parents and we wanted Nicole to capture this ceremony, parent shots and a few photos of us as Husband & Wife-Nicole REFUSED payment for our private ceremony! REFUSED! She wouldn’t even accept a tip!
We are beyond grateful for Nicole’s generosity and her talents! She just delivered us our photos and they are so beautiful! She really made our little ceremony look like a grand affair! We love our photos and can’t wait to for our big wedding in the fall! We highly recommended Nicole! She is truly talented and the sweetest!

Chris and I had our couples shoot a few weeks ago and not only was Nicole professional but she was also SO fun to work with! Our pictures turned out phenomenal, she told us some direction on how to pose but she let us have fun with it and it was comfortable! Nicole is an absolute artist. I knew from the moment I saw her work that I had to contact her, and I am so glad that I did. My new husband and I are both very awkward in front of the camera (and with new people!) but Nicole was so patient and she walked us through a number of poses.
