Farm and Ranch Museum uses Dickerson's Catering as their only caterer and they are fantastic (reviewed seperately as well). My husband was deployed and so I went back to the venue multiple times with different people to show them around and get ideas. Each time the staff was friendly, helpful, accomodating and allowed us to walk the grounds and museum freely. The catering staff was basically invisible during the event and very professional. Marcie Dickerson worked very hard to help encapture our vision easily, economically, stress free and did a fabulous job. Highly Highly Highly recommended. Prices were super affordable and there were no surprises.
Specifically regarding the venue:
Great for an outdoor wedding + reception and they were willing to adjust based on weather without a whine (we were lucky we didn't have to go inside on our 65 degree December 19 wedding!!)
Outside on the grounds are some amazing places for pictures: barns, windmill, old bridge, old retro cars and tractors, beautiful courtyards etc.
The Tortugas room is huge and will accomodate a lot of people. The high ceilings with chandeliers and fabulous woodwork makes the room look great no matter what your decorations are.
We got lucky and had our wedding on a Sunday around Christmas so we got free decorations/chair covers that were being used for other weddings. Make sure you know what their decor will be so you can match yours!!
