Nelson Gonzalez was born in Caracas, Venezuela. Nelson underwent studies at the University of Central Oklahoma, university where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in arts administration and a master’s in jazz studies. As a performer, Nelson has had the opportunity to work extensively in the Oklahoma City music scene, from leading his own jazz quartet to playing with groups that range from funk, musical theatre, big band, rock, hip-hop, etc. On top of this, Nelson has experience booking for private events for the past 2 years.
