Your relationship is worth the time and effort of coaching

My wife and I were struggling with finding a way to access premarital counseling that wasn't Christian and was queer friendly. We had almost given up after doing some initial consults with counselors but then my wife found Tirzah. Tirzah met my wife and I where we were at in our relationship and gave us the tools to move our relationship forward. She didn't shame either of us for how we each viewed an issue or conflict, rather she validated both points of view and assisted us with viewing things from each other's point of view. We learned skills that we use often to repair conflict, communicate more efficiently, and to make sure we are both working to maintain and grow the relationship. I would recommend her wholeheartedly to any couple that is interfaith, and not heterosexual passing and I know we will be quick to book maintenance sessions with her as well.

Amazing Experience

Tirzah was amazing to work with and really took the time to get to know my partner and I so by the time we were going over the ceremony it felt as though she had a very deep understanding of our relationship and what was important to us. I can be very nit-picky when it comes to the way things sound and they did an incredible job of incorporating all of our requests. The day of, of course there were some challenges with other aspects of our wedding but Tirzah was super calm and made adjustments to ensure we got what we wanted. Thank you so much, and I hope this helps anyone who is looking for a great officiant!!!

Incredible process + officiant

Tirzah was an incredible officiant, and she helped us craft a unique and personal ceremony that had us (and many of our guests) crying tears of joy. I appreciated that she had thorough questions to guide us through the ceremony creation process, that she met with us multiple times in person and over Zoom in the months leading up to the big day, and that she even spoke with both of our sisters to add extra special touches to the ceremony. We would absolutely recommend working with her!

Hello! My name is Tirzah, (She, Her). I was born in Boulder, CO, lived 10 years in NYC, and now reside in Denver, CO with my wife for life!

After a career as a Licensed Social Worker, I found myself ready for a transition. It wasn't until after I was planning my own wedding and realizing how stressful it was, that I had a light bulb moment and decided to create NearlyWed Coaching to be the person I wish my wife and I had when planning our wedding.

I care about helping you sift through the hard stuff so that you can...

1. Be more connected as a couple through the planning process as you enter into marriage.

2. Get clear about what you really want and take action to make it happen without doubt and regret.

Let's be real, wedding planning can be stressful AF, but you don't have to be in it alone! Your relationship is unlike any other in this world, and I am here to help you create a wedding and ceremony that celebrates your authentic love!

Officiant

Hello! My name is Falon (She, Her) and I simply love love. As more of my friends began partnering up, I wanted to do more than just offer gifts and good vibes on the dance floor after the ceremony. I wanted to be the person to help share their relationship story at the altar. So I became a Wedding Officiant!

I value relationships in all their forms whether they are with friends of years or a brief encounter with a stranger. I pride myself in being a safe and welcoming space for people. We have all gone through immense life journeys and we have stories to tell. I hope to be the one to tell the story of your love on your special day.

As your Officiant, you will receive someone who is fully attentive to your story. I am a confident public speaker who enjoys creating an engaged atmosphere in any room. I’ll bring the joys, the tears, and the love at the altar for you to carry onto your guests as you all enjoy your ceremony together.

Outside of Officiating, I wear many other hats. I am an explorer and traveler at heart. That passion has led me to many places - theater stage management for Off-Broadway productions, MC/Host for performing artists, trail builder in the Rocky Mountains, Lodge Management, and more. My interest in variety has kept me open minded and accepting. My various journeys have helped me to connect with all types of people.

When Tirzah asked me to join her at NearlyWed, it was an immediate “yes!” I connected with Tirzah the moment I met her. She has a caring energy and wants the best for others. As it goes, “It takes a village”, and I am proud to partner with Tirzah to join you together at the altar and celebrate your commitment to and love for each other.
