Nate! What a gem. It was so amazing to work with Nate. From our engagement photos to the wedding day, he was so easy-going, down to earth, and friendly. He made us feel relaxed from the get go, which was very important to us. On wedding day we got to meet his second shooter, who also happens to be his wife, Luisa, and she was just as incredible as Nate!! They were both so friendly, put us at ease, were prompt and prepared, and honestly made us forget they were there they were so comfortable and adept behind the camera and photographing this type of event. I would recommend Nate (and Luisa) again and again and again. You cannot go wrong with hiring Nate! Worth every penny!

Nate Perkes is hands down the best photographer Idaho has to offer. He is incredibly talented (which is obvious when you look at his work) but more importantly he is kind, courteous, and thoughtful. He and his wife went above and beyond to make our wedding day perfect. His wife even ran out and bought me a snack and milkshake when I was feeling incredibly hungry and low on energy.

Nate was also one of my wedding experts. I was planning my wedding from out of state and without a wedding planner, which can be incredibly stressful, and he was always willing to listen to my questions and provide sound advice and feedback. In some ways he was my wedding therapist. I couldn't have planned this wedding without his help.

I would have no reservations encouraging anyone to spend just a little more for this incredibly talented artist. Love him! BEST PHOTOGRAPHER EVER!!!

I seriously can't say enough nice things about Nate & his wife ! It was so nice to have two photographers capturing my big day! And my pictures turned out AMAZING !! Nate is an amazing photographer with great unique ideas! I would recommend him to everyone!!

My fiance and I got our engagement photos with Nate a week and a half ago. We just got our images in full res today. We are on his website as Cole and Heather under engagement photos for some of them.
We were blown away. Our expectations were already high because we loved his style and his personality (it was quite fun with him). But he went above and beyond for us.
His value was even better than we hoped because he gave us more time and photos in the end than even expected.
He was fun, professional, and very skilled. We saw his online images and we weren't too surprised with how well ours turned out. AMAZING.
He was easy to talk to and contact. When we told him we were looking to find a abandoned building to take photos near, he went out on his own and found one, asked the neighbors who owned it, and asked the owners to use it. They turned out great.
Even when we were photographing, we saw a old taken apart truck in the distance we wanted to see if we could take photos near. We asked him and he was happy to do it. The pictures were incredible.
Altogether, we were very excited to write a review. He went above and beyond. We felt super comfortable with him and he is so nice.
If you're looking for a great photographer, he's your man. We have nothing bad to say about him.

When we were looing for a photographer for our wedding, we wanted someone who had a noticeable difference in their work without being too contrived. After viewing some of Nate's work on his blog/Facebook page and his website, it become very clear that he was the guy we were looking for. From the moment we made contact with him, through the end of our wedding he was personable, professional and made us feel at ease. Many of his overall packages include an enagagement session. I would highly recommend that you schedule that session, as it allows you and your future spouse to be the time to get comfortable with Nate, and to experiment with different locations. If you are looking for a photographer that clearly is a step above the rest, then I would not hesitate to hire Nate. We have had numerous comments from friends and family about the quality and beauty of his work.

Nate is not only a very talented photographer, he was also very professional, & just genuinely friendly. I felt like both my husband and I were very relaxed around him (that is a talent when there are hundreds of photos being taken!) & enjoyed both our engagement & wedding session very much. Our photos turned out gorgeous & we are so glad we splurged on a great photographer. Highly recommend!

We could not be more happy with all of our pictures!! Nate and Luisa were absolutely incredible. My husband hates taking pictures, and I expected a real struggle to get good pictures. It was quite the opposite. Nate made us both feel so comfortable and natural. We had a great time with both our engagement and wedding shoots! The pictures are amazing and we get compliments from everyone that sees them.
