Maureen was so great to work with. I loved that she did cake tasting! She is so talented and did exactly what I wanted. The cake was delicious... Like I can't even explain how delicious! The poppy almond cake is by far the best cake I have ever had! The cake was beautiful and everything we imagined, thanks Maureen!

Maureen is so amazing! We wanted a completely custom cake with polka dots/stripes and she created EXACTLY what we wanted. She even custom matched our 4 wedding colors (coral, orange, apple green and yellow) so that fondant frosting was the exact same colors! We'd recommend My Sweet Cakes to everyone!!

Maureen was outstanding to work with! She was very responsive and worked with us to make a great geeky whimsical cake to fit our wedding. Her cake managed to taste even better than it looked which was a challenge.

My groom hates fondant and when we went to the tasting, the fondant was so smooth and delicious he not only didn't mind, he didn't realize it was fondant!

She does charge for tastings, which is pretty common in Ogden and surprised me, but the amount of cake she gives for tastings in incredible! You pretty much get four top tiers on a wedding cake in any of four combinations you want. It gave us a LOT of left over cake which actually was really nice because we got to try it again later to see if we still liked our initial choices, we got to share it with family to get their thoughts too and in honesty we got to try it when it was a day or so old...it still tasted great! I even think it will taste amazing a year from now at our anniversary!

The only .1 I would subtract is that she does charge for each additional flavor. That surprised me a bit and wasn't something I saw at any of the other places we were looking at. Not a huge drawback but staying on wedding budget is hard and small charges add up.
