Do I need a trial?

Absolutely! Before the big day, I always recommend a trial; this will let us get to know each other a bit first and you can find out what information you need from me well in advance. We’ll discuss what you want your make-up to do for you; bold brows, subtle shimmer, sharp cheekbones or bright eyes; I won’t rest until you’re 100% happy and have a beaming smile.

How many people can have their make-up done?

As many as time will allow me! The biggest bridal party I've done was of 10. As long as I've got caffeine, I'm alright ;) For bigger parties, I can bring an assistant.

What make-up brands do you use?

Absolutely all sorts. It's a shame that some of the more well-known make-up brands test on animals, but I take great pride in using products that are Cruelty-Free and I have a lot of vegan makeup brands too. I've researched many products and brands to make sure I don't compromise on quality. My kit list includes but is not limited to Illamasqua, Urban Decay, Ardell, Hourglass, ELF, Barry M, Body Shop, Tarte, Real Techniques, Morphe and Sugarpill. I use First Aid Beauty, Soap and Glory or B. for my skincare. If you've any questions about what I use, get in touch!

How long do you allow for each person's makeup on the day?

I tend to want to allow an hour for the bride's make-up and around 45 minutes per additional guest in the bridal party. Timings can be discussed at your trial. I only do one wedding a day, so I'll be with you for whatever you need and as long as you need!

Do I need to pay a deposit to secure my wedding date?

Yes. A non-refundable deposit of £100.00 is required to hold the date of your wedding in my diary up until your trial run. This amount is then taken off the rest of your booking.

How far will you travel for a wedding?

Wherever I'm needed and wanted, I will go! I've been to Croydon, Llangollen, Grimsby, Southend on Sea and those closer to home like Chesterfield, Leicestershire, Derbyshire and Warwickshire. ravel charges will apply outside of a 20-mile radius of NG1 and are charged at 50p per mile, based on a return journey. I've got a valid passport too if you're getting married abroad ;)

When is the best time to book you?

I always recommend people get in touch as soon as they can when they book their wedding day. Peak wedding season can book up some 12-18 months in advance, and I will only take on one wedding a day to provide a personal and professional service.

Do you do hair as well as makeup?

No, I don't provide any hair-styling services; hairstyling to me is wizardry! I'm a specialist bridal and events makeup artist with over 8 years experience and pride myself on having really high standards of service. I can recommend you a number of amazing hairstylists that I work with on a regular basis who have years of experience.
