Welcome to Mountain Life Photography, a photography studio in Whitefish, Montana, for weddings and milestone events. My name is Polly, and I've been a professional photographer for over twenty years. My photography approach utilizes the natural light and gorgeous scenery Montana has to offer. From your first inquiry to the end of your reception, I work closely with you and your partner to capture all the love and memories that come with one of the most important days of your life. I truly love what I do and would be honored to be a part of your special day. Elopements, weddings, micro weddings, and day-after sessions - these are my specialties!

I have photographed over 300 weddings and elopements and thousands of couples portraits. I am really excited to meet you and create some amazing memories that will last a lifetime.

My motto is ' I only take amazing photos!' And I promise I will do the same for you!

Mountain Life Photography was perfect!

Polly did our wedding photos and we couldn't be happier! She brings plenty of energy and creativity with her so we were able to just enjoy our big day. Our wedding guests still talk about how great of a photographer we had. From start to finish we had a great experience with mountain life photography. Absolutely recommend!

Could not have asked for a better experience!

My wife and I flew out to Glacier National Park to have our wedding pictures done. We wanted everything to be perfect and was a little nervous about the whole ordeal. After all, this was a big deal for the both of us. We emailed several photographers that we found on the internet to try and get information and prices. I spoke with Polly from Mountain Life Photography and knew instantly that she was the one! My wife and I could tell that she truly had a passion and cared about making our big deal perfect. We met Polly at the park for our session and things could not have been better! We felt very comfortable with Polly. It was as if we had known her forever. Once we received our photos, we were blown away. SHE IS THE REAL DEAL! If you have the opportunity to use her, DO IT!

Perfect!!! Polly captured every moment of the day!

Polly of Mountain Life Photography made our wedding day even more special then we could have imagined. It was a destination wedding, and from the first time we spoke with Polly, we new she was the one to capture the day in pictures. Having never seen the ceremony location, she provided great advice and direction about Glacier National Park. She went above and beyond, even contacting the park permit office on our behalf. She came to our wedding with so much enthusiasm and was truly excited to be sharing this day. We had the proofs within 2 weeks and final edits 30 days later. Two years later when our computer “blew up” and we lost all of the photos, what did she do, downloaded them again for us! Hands down, we recommend Mountain Life Photography for any of your photographic needs. Thank you Polly for making the day extra special!

Baylie & Kevin's wedding The Lodge at Whitefish September 2023

Mountain life Photography did an amazing job capturing every moment from the rehearsal dinner, welcome party and the weeding, reception and after party. She got the best photos of every combination of guests as well. The photo all 1,300 of them turned out amazing! She was very creative in back drops and spontaneous moments. I highly would recommend her for any event or special occasion. Thank you POLLY!

Whitefish Mountain Wedding M&M 7.1.23

Polly was phenomenal! She captured our wedding beautifully! She was very flexible, especially with our day after session at Glacier! It was great getting to know Polly and see her doing what she loves and executing her speciality. We were so glad she could be a part of our special day and could capture our memories that will last a lifetime. She gives 110% making sure to capture all angles (even if that means laying on the floor haha) . She knows the area near Glacier and Whitefish like no other and is a local, which is great to add and it shows in her experience.

She is wonderful!

We hired Polly for our post wedding photo shoot in Glacier National Park. Her work is amazing! We couldn’t be happier with our photos. Our photo session was unusually long due to construction in the park, however she still took her time and got us all of the shots we wanted! She had great communication with us and is dependable, which was extremely important since we are not from the area. We are so grateful to have found her!

Made a great day even better!

The experience we had was absolutely amazing! Could not have gone any better. Photos turned out amazing and were so easy to share with family! I’ve been in a lot of weddings and seen a lot of photos and these turned out the best I’ve ever seen! Would highly recommend to anyone else having photos done for any occasion! I have them booked again for our family photos.

Professional and detail oriented!

Polly was an amazing, fun, detail-oriented and overall very talented professional photographer for our daughter's wedding. She communicated with us about what we wanted out of the day, yet also knew exactly what to capture and didn't leave anything out. She let it unfold naturally when appropriate, yet also guided us to capture every special moment. In addition, her knowledge of Glacier National Park and the Whitefish area was critical since we were new to the area. She picked outstanding photo locations and produced breathtaking photos! Highly recommend!

Eloped wedding

We are a couple from hundreds of miles away from Glacier so the process of picking a photographer for one of the biggest moments in our lives was very nerve wracking but Polly made it great by answering all our questions, being open to any ideas, and having quick responses. The day of she was an absolute joy to be around and was great with our kids. She hyped us up and made it fun while doing a long day of AMAZING pictures. The turn around time was quick and pictures were so much better than we ever could of expected!
