Our experience with Cafe Mosiac and Pat Long was completely perfect! Our daughter wanted to have food stations, which of course can be a challenge to keep food hot and available. Owner and Chef Pat Long has been in the restaurant industry for over 20 years. He became owner in 2007 and works with many of the same staff. He has catered events of all sizes with culturally diverse menus to match the couple’s needs. He has a loyal team with years of expertise serving casual and formal weddings. Every event gets his full attention just like they are family. He strives for memorable meals that create epic nights and long-lasting memories. He lives in Washington, Missouri with his wife and four daughters. You can find him sharing his love of food and entertaining with his friends and family. He likes to relax with a nice Bourbon and watching the Cardinals or Blues games whenever he can.
Shelley has been in the restaurant industry for over 30 years. Her experience includes serving at Hunters Hollow, Yia Yia’s, and American Bounty Restaurant. Pat and Shelley celebrated their Work Anniversary this year with 20 years working in the kitchen together. Her experience makes her a strong asset in the front and back of the house. You can find Shelley helping to make sure every event from a rehearsal dinner to a large outdoor wedding is perfect. Her work is central to every meal produced. When she isn’t working, she is watching her granddaughter play soccer and throwing frisbees with her German Shepherd babies Fellina and Simone.
Kelly Brunzel is the Pastry/Event Chef of Mosaic Café and Catering. With one side of her family owning a restaurant and the other side a bakery both in Long Island, her culinary career was almost a given. Kelly attended East Central Culinary school and fine-tuned her skills at a variety of restaurants earning a reputation for her baked goods. For the past 7 years Kelly has continued to refine her craft at Mosaic Café and Catering by flexing her muscles in both savory and sweet. Kelly’s passion for cooking and baking gives everything that extra ounce of deliciousness. She loves outside adventures, watching her two boys play sports, and date nights with her husband.
