Monique helped us every step of the way. From planning our engagement shoot, helping finalize our day of timeline to even helping at our rehearsal, Monique’s experience really made our big day go by as smoothly as possible. Our pictures came our beautifully and were everything we wanted and more.

Monique was professional and took beautiful photos. She worked with our venue to make sure that we could go anywhere we wanted for our photos.

I would not recommend working with Monique. I found her communication style to be rigid and lacking empathy. I had hired her for my wedding and engagement shoots. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we had to cancel our wedding plans. I explained the situation to her and told her I would update her once we knew what was going to happen, but she continued to message us about scheduling despite our uncertainty.
Later, I proposed transferring the two sessions to my sisters, who both live in her area, so she wouldn’t have to travel or incur any additional costs. She declined and informed me she would cancel our events but offer my sisters a discounted rate instead. I was surprised, as I had assumed she would consider refunding or transferring the sessions given the extraordinary circumstances.
While I understand contracts exist for a reason, I was disappointed by the lack of flexibility and understanding shown during an already difficult time. I would encourage anyone considering working with Monique to be aware that she adheres very strictly to her contract terms and may not accommodate unexpected life events or cancellations.
