She brought a calming presence to what could have been a stressful day, creating an environment where we felt completely at ease. Monika has a gift for curating intimate moments, allowing us to be fully present while she captured them.

Her photography truly speaks for itself—airy, whimsical, and absolutely beautiful. As complete novices in front of the camera, we appreciated her guidance and natural posing suggestions. The engagement shoot included in our package was such a bonus, giving us the chance to get comfortable with the camera and poses before the day of the wedding.

We’ve seen photos from other photographers at our venue, and they simply don’t hold a candle to Monika’s work. Her second shooter was equally wonderful to work with, capturing additional angles and moments seamlessly.

We are beyond grateful to have had Monika capture our wedding day. Thanks to her, we’ll be able to relive these memories for the rest of our lives.

Monika was a pleasure to work with for our wedding! She was very professional, easy to work with, responsive, brought a calming presence to our wedding, and took amazing photos. She helped create a timeline for the day and she was already familiar with our venue, The Madison Hotel. Her second photographer, Debbie was also very professional, helpful in coordinating the family portraits, and had a fun energy. Monika was absolutely incredible and we are so happy that we booked her for our wedding!! From the start, Monika was responsive and continued to be throughout our time working with her. The package we booked included an Engagement Shoot, which was so great! We loved getting to know and work with Monika before the wedding, and after that first shoot, we were even more excited to be working with her for the wedding day. Monika has such a wonderful energy and made us feel so comfortable for the shoot - we ended up having so much fun! The Engagement photos came out incredible and we used them for our Save the Dates. As a really fun surprise, and after hearing our rave reviews of working with her, my Mom hired Monika to capture the photography for my bridal shower. Those photos (of course) also came out so beautiful and I’m so glad we have those to cherish and remember that day. As for the wedding - Monika was incredibly thorough leading up to the day and making sure she captured any specific photos we requested. On the day of the wedding, Monika brought such a wonderful, calming energy and we received the same comments from others in the wedding party. She captured everything we had requested and made the whole day even more fun. We received so many comments from the wedding party about how great she was - making sure we got the shots we needed without being pushy or adding stress to the day. Throughout the day and night, Monika captured all the details that we worked so hard to plan. The photos from the day came out so gorgeous and we are so happy with them! If you are looking for a photographer who captures beautiful, romantic photos and who will approach the day with a calming, but fun energy, Monika is definitely the one for you!! Monika is a talented light & airy photographer but she is also responsive, organized, and has great attention to detail. From creating our wedding day photography schedule, to curating flat lays of our invitations, to editing photos, to putting the finishing touches on our albums, Monika was extremely thoughtful and made everything stress free for us. On top of all of that Monika also has a way of making you feel comfortable behind the camera.

Monika is the true gem of this whole wedding journey. We met her at a bridal event in Morristown. I will say she is the best and our favorite vendor that we hired. She is the warmest, kindest woman. When I say she made my husband and I come to life for our engagement pictures I knew our wedding photos would be stunning. Just our sneak peaks bring tears to my eyes of our wedding photos. All you have after your day, is pictures and videos. Make sure you hire someone you adore. Monika makes you feel so comfortable, so relaxed. She delivers more than you pay for and she is always striving to aim higher than you ask. She was the most supportive vendor during the pandemic, always encouraging us. Always behind us in any way we needed. Hire her for anything and everything her work is impeccable. We both fell in love with her since day one and are so blessed and thankful she was apart of our most private and special moments.

I seriously do not even know where to begin with Monika de Myer Photography. Monika is not only the sweetest, nicest, and caring person, but her photos are amazing and she is so professional.

My husband and I used her for both our engagement photos as well our wedding photos. She had the light and airy feel about her photos that I was looking for. It's not everyday that you have "photoshoots", and we were worried about not knowing what we were doing, but Monika was able to direct and guide us so our photos came out natural and perfect.

Prior to the wedding she provided us with a full itinerary with times and photos order. This was perfect and allowed us to plan and tell other family when and where they needed to be. It also allowed us to add any additional photos we wanted to be taken that day.

Monika and her team the day of the wedding were SO amazing. They made me feel so comfortable, and she felt like part of the family. Of course after seeing a few teasers, I could barely wait to get all of the photos back. Monika's photo turnaround was so quick and our photos are amazing.
