Everything went smoothly! We appreciated Janessa coordinating booking for our entire group; including flight changes for majority of the group and hurricane concerns. She did an amazing job of sending resort information, making connections with the wedding coordinators and answering any questions our guests had. We will most definitely use Janessa for future travel needs.

We always knew that we wanted a destination wedding. We both love to travel and try to do at least 3 trips per year. However, a large majority of our guest list does not travel. We chose to work with Mode Travel agency to ease the process for our guests with their travel bookings and to limit the amount of travel questions that we would receive while trying to plan our wedding. While I am a type A personality and an event planner myself, having a travel agent help with finding a resort, picking dates, and booking the travel made the beginning stages of planning a destination wedding a breeze! I do wish I would have paid more attention to the “change/cancellation policy” through Fun Jet Vacations (vendor they use to book resort/flights) as the change voucher has stimulations that make it hard to use. We had our destination wedding at the Hard Rock Vallarta in March 2025. Janessa was very hands on and responsive to my several calls and emails. She found the answers to my questions about the resort/wedding that I had before being set up with the resort coordinator which was very helpful. The resort coordinator doesn’t get in touch with you until 90 days before your arrival and I had several questions before that, that she was able to answer or find an answer to. She was very knowledgeable about the Hard Rock resort. I had 5 requirements of what I wanted from the resort; good food, good service, kid friendly, smaller in size and all-inclusive. The Hard Rock Vallarta was one of the first resort options that Janessa sent to me. This resort covered all of my requirements and then some! The service that they provided to me as the bride was outstanding. Other than that small issue with the vendor, it was wonderful working with Janessa. Janessa and Stephanie provided all of the details to our guests with their booking information, travel tips, and really broke it down and made it easy for non-travelers to follow along for a stress free travel experience. I started planning with only 10 months until our wedding date so I had a faster turnaround then most. Janessa was on top of all of the deadlines and reassured us that it would all come together, which it did!  Our experience working with Mode Travel has been great! We would highly recommend others planning a destination wedding to work with Janessa at Mode Travel!

Communication was on! Any questions we had were answered very quickly. We wanted a "just show up" kind of vacation and they delivered. We had a direct flight. The transportation to the hotel was set up from the airport, the hotel knew we were coming, transportation back to the hotel was set. It was a very easy process, and I didn't have to plan a thing.

Janessa was amazing. Very quick to respond, knowledgeable. She provided us with multiple resorts to choose from so we could choose the best for us, our guests, and our special day.

From the very beginning Janessa with Mode Travel was so knowledgeable and quick to answer any questions we had on the whole process. Janessa played an amazing role in helping me make our destination wedding special. She spent countless hours working with the resorts due to cancelations from Covid to rebooking our flights numerous times. She successfully kept our rates the same even though they tried to charge us more. This was our second trip planned with Mode. Katie was very responsive to every question and concern we had planning our honeymoon. We were under some stress planning our wedding in a pandemic and it was nice to have every travel detail taken care of for us. We flew down to Cancun right when a tropical storm was about to hit the coast. Katie gave us many options on what we could do to be safest. She was already at the resort before the storm hit and eased our minds on the safety measures in place there. We definitely would recommend Mode Travel - they are the best!

Highly recommend this company for your travel needs. Katie went above and beyond to help us in any way possible during hurricane Delta while we were on our honeymoon in Mexico. In a nutshell, working with Mode Travel was seamless. From the start there was open communication regarding budget and destination. Great options were exchanged and narrowed down, and their pricing/payment options were extremely appreciated as we had wedding expenses to contest with. Once we chose our spot, Mode did the rest. Outlining every inclusive retreat and schedule options. Found flights that worked best for us and seats that were paired together. There were no extended layovers nor connections too tight for comfort. It was an amazing experience, essentially sitting back and having a honeymoon planned for us!
