Ms. Lucy’s Kitchen is a fantastic caterer. First and foremost, the food was delicious. But more than that, the planning process was fun and easy, and the cooking and serving process went off without a hitch and all dietary restrictions were accommodated seamlessly.

We used Miss Lucy's to cater our wedding at The Kaaterskill three years ago and we still hear from family and friends about how good the food was. This year - for our anniversary - I called Marc to see if he'd be willing to ship us some food for our anniversary dinner. He said he would but he couldn't ship it because he was worried the food wouldn't stay fresh if shipped - and that he would be happy to drive it to us (two hours away). I tried to talk him out of it but he insisted. Our anniversary dinner was incredibly special - the food, delicious as always - and I can't think Marc and Miss Lucy's enough for going way above and beyond for our special occasion. We are and will continue to be lifetime fans!

Delicious food and spectacular drinks from EXTRAORDINARY people. It was an honor to work with Marc and his team at Miss Lucy’s Kitchen! When people are still talking about the food and drinks over a month later, you know they absolutely crushed it at the wedding. Our planner Kate gave us a list in the very beginning to help us search for different caterers…with the preface that we couldn’t go wrong with Miss Lucy’s. We decided to reach out, and from that moment on, it was like we gained another family member who was there throughout every single little step of the wedding process. Marc was outrageously accommodating to our every whim and want – he even drove to NYC multiple times to meet my husband to discuss details because we live in Pennsylvania and it was quite a hike for us to go back and forth to the Hudson Valley. He’s hilarious, extremely kind and caring, and when it comes to food…you just can’t beat him. We visited Miss Lucy’s Kitchen in Saugerties, NY frequently over our two-ish year long process, and every single time, he welcomed us with open arms, helped us figure out the details behind the food and the drinks…and jumped wholeheartedly into every other little detail you could possibly imagine including picking tables, chairs, different bars, and even helping us with floor plans and the logistics of the day. You seriously aren’t going to find another caterer that’s willing to be so involved in your big day – he’s beyond professional when it comes to getting everything done on time…and doing it well. Marc also knows a lot of the vendors in the area, and works well with them, so having him as a part of our wedding team was quite frankly one of the best decisions we made for that whole day and night. We cannot thank him and his team enough for everything they did to help us throw the biggest party of our lives. He welcomed not only us when we visited his restaurant from out of town, but our family members as well when we happened to bring them along. The food, the drinks, the service was always top notch – I wish I could give them more than five stars. Our family and friends devoured every morsel of Miss Lucy’s divine cuisine and pretty much ran both bars dry – the cocktails were out of this world! If you truly want an unforgettable experience, whether it is for the food, the drinks, the accommodations, or even the friendship you will inevitably form, do yourself a huge favor and work with Marc and Miss Lucy’s Kitchen! If you are looking for phenomenal food and service in the Catskills look no further. Marc and his team are the absolute best. In the lead up to our wedding, Marc was incredibly helpful both with the menu and introducing us to other vendors (who were also amazing) all to ensure that everything was perfect on our wedding day. Working with Marc was the easiest and best wedding related decision we made. He takes weddings very seriously and by the end of the process you will feel like you have gained a friend. Since the wedding, my guests have repeatedly told me that it was the best food they ever had at the wedding and that the staff added to the fun atmosphere of the wedding by being both kind and engaging. I am so glad we can return to Miss Lucy's year after year to relive the deliciousness!

Marc and his team were amazing! We picked a location that did not have a kitchen or even running water and we had several family members scare us into thinking that the food was never going to be good. Marc assured us that things were not going to just be good but in fact great and man was he right! To start, the appetizers were phenomenal and Marc's staff even made sure that myself and my husband got our own plate of everything so we didn't miss a bite! Then the dinner course did not disappoint and we had several people tell us that the dinner was not just good for wedding food, but an overall amazing meal! If you are looking for a caterer who can make amazing food no matter the location and has a team of people who know how to get the job done well then Miss Lucys is for you!

Where do we start with Miss Lucy's? I'm not sure I can go on describing all of the things, big and small, that Marc did for our wedding. Not only is he a great chef who offered us an array of vegetarian options, which all of our 150 guests loved, he takes great attention to detail and is always organized with lists ready to get things accomplished as soon as possible. Wherever possible he took things of my plate and dealt with them himself. Whether it was with my tent company or venue, both whom he was working with for the first time, he was patient, transparent, cost-effective, and completely independent and self-sufficient when appropriate. Marc is a no-bullshit guy with an intense personality, which you can certainly appreciate when planning your own wedding. We now consider him our friend, and look forward to eating his food again soon when we visit the restaurant.

Shout-out to Marc's incredible staff as well. Carol rules! And everyone else was amazing that day too, helping with anything and everything under the tent and by the pool before food even began. They helped perfect the tables to my very specific standards, which I could not have done myself. Then, when things got rolling, as servers and bartenders, they were simply 100%. Thanks for everything, Marc & Miss Lucy's team. We had a perfect day.

Marc and his team were nothing short of amazing for our wedding day! Everyone continues to RAVE about how delicious the food and drinks were. From the beginning, Marc helped us create the perfect menu to match our tastes. He easily accommodated our family-style request and his staff worked their TAILS off going up and down stairs to their food truck to deliver to our guests. It was truly unbelievable, the food was outstanding and the service was TOP NOTCH!

Marc and his team were easy to work with and really delivered. Everyone was raving about the food (the pork sliders and the salmon in particular). And the execution was flawless. Thanks for the lovely dinner, Miss Lucy's!

Marc and his staff were amazing from start to finish. Our guests are still raving about all the incredible farm to table food served that day. From the insainly delicious in house smoked brisket to the wide assortment of mason jar desserts made from scratch. We can't say enough about the quality that goes into their cooking they use only the freshest ingredients ! Marc also handled all the equipment rentals and so many other details which really helped make the event go so smooth. He was always available and a pleasure to work with. His staff was extremely friendly and professional, going above and beyond to make sure all of our guests had the most memorable wedding experience. We highly reccomend Miss Lucy's Kitchen !

We could not be more thankful that we were able to have Marc & his great staff from Miss Lucy's/Cue for our wedding at The Kaaterskill. Marc truly was our wedding planner/rentals coordinator/local area guide/therapist throughout the whole process... he knows how to put on a great party while making it his business to know the ins & outs of everything, (so you don't always have to.) Most of all, though, the food is just plain fantastic - fresh juices used to mix specialty cocktails, perfectly smoked ribs and brisket cooked on-site in the Cue truck, local roasted veggies and delicious salads, and all sorts of fun, amazing potted desserts - all of our guests (including restaurant professionals & foodies from NYC, LA, & San Fran!) raved about the quality of everything. Seriously, do yourself a favor and book Marc as soon as you can.
