Miller's Landing is a family-owned, oceanfront wedding and elopement venue located on a historic homestead just outside of Seward, Alaska, at the edge of Resurrection Bay and the Kenai Fjords. Our property has been in the same family for generations and was established long before Alaska became a state. Today, it continues to be shaped by a deep connection to land, water, and community.

Facilities and Capacity

We offer venues and access for weddings of many sizes, from simple, boat-access elopements to large-scale celebrations hosting up to 1,500 guests. Our waterfront grounds include expansive open space, a 60×60 event tent that accommodates several hundred guests, and a smaller, more intimate property designed for gatherings of up to 60 people. For couples seeking something remote and personal, we also offer private elopement charters by boat to secluded coastal locations. Miller's Landing is more than a venue; it is an active coastal homestead. In addition to weddings and events, we operate fishing charters, water taxi services, and kayaking access directly from the property. Many couples choose to turn their wedding into a full destination experience, with guests fishing, exploring the fjords, or gathering around our large beachside bonfire pit. Some wedding parties even charter fishing boats and share freshly caught halibut or salmon with their guests.

Services Offered

We also offer on-site lodging, including cabins, yurts, camping cabins, tent sites, and RV spaces. RV and tent camping provide an accessible and economical option for destination weddings, and depending on the event and property reserved, some lodging and camping options are included in the venue rental. Miller's Landing operates as a venue, not a full-service wedding planning company. We provide the space, access, and select on-site services, while couples retain full creative control over their day. We offer in-house alcohol service under a resort liquor license and catering through our on-site café. We are not a classic resort, a chain, or a multi-state operation. Miller's Landing is a working family homestead, offering weddings and elopements that are personal, flexible, and deeply connected to the place where they happen.
