We were suppose to have Mike do our wedding photos.He had a family emergency the day of our wedding.I understand family emergencies happen,I am not giving a poor review because he had a family emergency that was out of his control,I understand how devastating that can be.The reason for the poor review was how he handled it,very unprofessional.Mike had told me the week before he would be on site to take pictures before the ceremony by 3 the latest.(Wedding starts at 5pm).315pm roles around,no Mike,so I call him and very politely leave a voicemail.Then I call back around 340-ish still no answer,call again 2more times no answer,leave another slightly irritated message. At that point I text my fiance to call Mike because I am sitting in the bridal room freaking out. My fiance calls Mike at about 420ish finally gets Mike to answer, as my fiance described it, his "robotic message": Family Emergency. Not Coming. Jeff was like WHAT???? Mike repeated Father is in the hospital. not coming today. full refund. and then hung up. He WAS NOT professional at all! Less than 30min before our wedding was suppose to start we find out THE PHOTOGRAPHER is not coming! Like I said, I understand that it was a family emergency, but he couldn't take two minutes to call us and let us know? Answer any of my multiple calls??Or be the professional adult and give the phone to someone else and say I am really distraught, can you please call the Bride and tell her I can't take pictures at her wedding today?? Most people have a back up if they are unable to make it. I have no nice photos of what was suppose to be the happiest day of my life, I have cellphone pictures but I can't blow those up, and not good quality, nothing like any bride and groom should have. No posed pictures, no getting ready pictures, no first dance, nothing.Since we were stressed and trying to find a new photographer the wedding got delayed which then shortened the reception.We got our refund, but the memories weren't captured.
