We held our wedding at Merrick Hollow last weekend, and words cant describe how beautiful this wedding venue is. It is a fairytale and worth every penny. We were surround by the beautiful trees, monarch butterflies, and the beautiful outdoors that you forget you are in the Oklahoma City metro.

The venue is about 45 minutes from Oklahoma City and while driving you feel like you are going to the middle of nowhere, but that did not stop any of our 54 guests from coming! This place is a hidden gem. And how beautiful the venue is was talked about by all of our guests for days after the wedding.

The venue offered a lot of amenities - arch options for the ceremony, tables and chairs, security guard, Day of Coordinator, kitchen, fire pit, outdoor and indoor ceremony options, bride and groom suites. They also allow you to have the venue from 9am to midnight day of, which is plenty of time to set up, rehearse morning of, and break down.

If you are looking for an outdoor, fairytale, nature-y wedding in Oklahoma City, I highly recommend Merrick Hollow for you wedding venue!

We had our wedding here last September. This place is an absolute gem. You cannot beat the treehouse aesthetic. It is magical. It is tucked away in a forested area but still has a dedicated (gravel) parking lot. We had an outdoor ceremony in the afternoon and an indoor dinner/games/dancing reception the rest of the evening. I was really worried about having an outdoor ceremony, knowing Oklahoma weather (especially in summer...). It turned out perfectly. We did not have to decide until a few days before, so we were able to see the weather forecast. I was also really worried about bugs, but they sprayed the outdoor area 30 minutes before the ceremony, and it made a HUGE difference. We did not get bitten at all. It also was not too hot because the outdoor area is very shaded. There are tons of gorgeous, unique backdrops for photos. We had different spots for doing first looks. We had our choice of arbor shapes for the ceremony, and they also provided chairs/tables for the reception. The rest is supplied by you so you can customize. We added on the Security Guard/Parking Attendant and the in-house Day Of Coordinator to our booking. It gave us so much peace of mind. If you are on a budget, at least do the day of coordinator. I literally cannot put into words how worth it that decision was. Despite the name, we actually had a 1 month meeting as well. Sybree is the reason I made it through the tail end of wedding planning without having panic attacks. She was so professional and kind. And she was always just a text away! Merrick also provided us with a way to figure out our floorplan online. It made it much more simple. Sybree made sure everything went smoothly on the day of. She handled everything (she was in charge of set-up, operations during (such as moving the decorations from the ceremony outside to the reception inside), and tear-down). I was able to just focus on getting ready. (Side note, Sybree does wedding coordination freelance now, so look her up even if you decide on a different venue! Highly recommend her!!)

I can not say enough about this venue! They were amazing in all aspects, communication, preparedness, and expectations were exceeded beyond what I could have ever wanted! Also the in house Day of Coordinator, Danielle, 10/10. Will recommend this place 1,000%!

If you want a venue that will make all of your friends jealous look no further. The romantic bridge that leads up to the venue is perfect. The forest surroundeds you making you feel like you're in a fairy tale. The floor to ceiling windows creates the perfect backdrop to any wedding.
My only recommendation is to possibly have bug spray on hand. You are in the forest! :)

We are renewing our vows (10 years) and were looking for that perfect location to present our s'more theme and saw this location and fell instantly in love. In the planning stages now, but have taken the tour and its such a magical beautiful feeling to be there and dream up that beautiful day that we will celebrate and remember forever. The Austins are so gracious and hospitable as well as accommodating to help make the day perfect. Looking forward to S'more Love renewal day with Merrick Hollow, family and friends. 05-27-21

Merrick Hollow is a dream. The venue was beautiful. The groom and bride rooms are lovely. They get the tables set up for you. Very responsive. Very easy portal to use. This was a dream come true!
