Such a beautiful experience!

Melissa was very professional, and really on point with capturing every detail and moment. She stepped in to help a few of us that needed things here and there, and she was genuinely a really nice person. We did get a sneak peek that showed highlights of the whole day, and a few weeks later we had the rest of our gallery ready. The pictures were so beautiful, and we were so impressed with how many moments she caught for us. I cherish these pictures, and her editing skills are really impressive! I would recommend Melissa Marx to anyone who is looking for a wedding photographer that makes you feel comfortable and treats you like a friend!

Could not be happier!

I truly couldn’t be happier with choosing Melissa Marx! The process beforehand was really easy on my end, she was super helpful and attentive. Melissa arrived early, she had such a nice way about her and all of our guests loved her! The photos came out so beautiful, and brought tears to my eyes. She’s amazing!!

Wonderful photographer with a great personality!

Melissa was very punctual, had a high level of professionalism yet was very personable. She helped me and anyone else with anything she could, which was way above and beyond just being our photographer. She felt like a friend to us. We received our photos back earlier than promised, and we were so happy with our gallery. We have images that are full of emotion, and they turned out so beautifully! Seeing the gallery brought me to tears!

Read your contract!

Appeared to be very professional on-site, accepting of ideas, gave direction, and flexible with schedule. HOWEVER, delivery and communication are a substantial problem. Poor communication; no response to emails and texts, does not follow through on delivery date promises or even provide updates on late delivery or otherwise. Last response was "I'm running behind but I should have your gallery done by the end of the week." I had a fairly small wedding and reception event. It has been 8 months now and no word of anything. Fully paid and gone with the wind. Google reviews have mysteriously disappeared. Disappointed and angry is an understatement.

No photos in 5 months

Haven’t received my photos in 5 months. I received our 72 hour sneak peak weeks after I was supposed to. My texts have not been answered days later (not as of recently) and was given a story every time that she going through something. I tried to be understanding but 5 months and now not responding is too much. I looked at her pages and two of my photos that I haven’t received are on her pages!!! Unacceptable. So here we are. Further steps are going to be taken.
