From the start Melissa's communication with me via email was prompt and thorough. She is very detailed oriented with everything she does, from her planning of delivery of services to the actual process itself.
The major task was covering a very large colorful tattoo and one smaller one on my daughters back. She has a proven process for this and it was amazing to watch and NO ONE knew she had tattoos. The people who did were amazed. Second, her bridal makeup was exquisite! We received so many compliments! My girlfriends were very impressed with how my eyes looked-the special touch of eyelashes put them over the top.
I would highly recommend Melissa. She had to travel to our hotel and made sure she had ample time to complete all the tasks at hand. Very professional, efficient and artistic too. The total package!

It down poured rain on the day of my outdoor garden wedding in SC and the only thing that kept the tears from spilling over is the fact that I didn't want to ruin my PERFECT makeup done by Melissa! I have literally never felt more beautiful than I did after she finished my look. I brought in some pictures of eye makeup that I liked and she saw my vision for what I wanted and executed it without a flaw! She even convinced my mother who never wears a drop of makeup to let her do a light natural look and we all loved the results!! Without hesitation, I wholeheartedly recommend Melissa for any makeup event. I worked with Melissa in July as she did my makeup (my MOH and my mom's) for both my rehearsal dinner and wedding. She was exactly the person I wanted in the room with me as I was preparing for the big event. She was calm and efficient despite the crazy timelines and the general frenzied pace that comes with getting ready for a wedding. I had a few patches of skin that were uneven from a spray tan that went wrong and had spent most of the night before worrying about it. Melissa used her talent, skills, and attention to detail to blend the makeup so the skin flawless. It was a crisis I had not prepared for, but her expert abilities made it a non-issue. You want to look beautiful on your wedding day and Melissa has this innate ability to make you feel that way both inside and out.
