The Most Delicious Cakes!

Maurice French Pastries did my bride cake, groom’s cake, and pastries for our wedding. The brides cake was carrot with cream cheese icing and the grooms cake was chocolate hazelnut and they were both so moist and delicious! Jean-Luc and team at the bakery were a pleasure to work with! We also had iced sugar cookies and their amaretto balls! So tasty and everyone raves about them! Couldn’t recommend them enough!

Maurice French Pastries provided us with an excellent wedding cake. We went with a small 2 tier naked cake garnished with a variety of berries. It was beautiful and tasty. Would certainly use them again for any occasion.

I was so happy with my wedding cake from Maurice's. It was beautiful, tasty, moist and exactly what I asked for. And they were the best value hands down which was great to help stay on budget. I was very pleased with everything!

We decided to try Maurice's after it was recommended to us by a friend who had gotten their wedding cake from them - so glad we did! We ordered a 4 tier cake from them (2 chocolate layers) for our wedding this past Saturday. The cake was absolutely delicious! They did an amazing job making sure we had exactly what we wanted and we had a lot of compliments on how good everything was. Thank you!

We were looking for a gluten free doberge for a groom's cake since my husband has a food allergy and had pretty much given up hope - until we found this place! It was delicious and couldn't even tell that it was gluten-free - it was so moist, dense, and the chocolate was so rich and delicious - the perfect dark compliment to our white & fluffy buttercream wedding cake. Most of our guests ate and enjoyed both, and they did a great job setting up our custom cake toppers. Would highly recommend!

If you need a croquembouche for your wedding, this is the place to go! We ordered a croquembouche and a doberge for our New Orleans wedding. Ordering was easy, the delivery fee was reasonable, and the desserts arrived on time. Most importantly, they were delicious! It was great to see the look on people's faces when they saw (and ate) the croquembouche!

For our NOLA wedding, we went with a traditional French croquembouche, which is basically a tower of creampuffs. I originally wanted the croque on top of a sheet cake but the bakery was not confident the cake could support of the weight of the cream puffs. No problem. Instead, we went with a groom’s cake, a surprise for my husband, which was in the shape of his business logo. It was made with black fondant, chocolate cake and filled with praline buttercream and strawberry preserve filling. Maurice's did not disappoint. Every bit of our cakes were gone by the end of the wedding!

We were also pleasantly surprised at how affordable the cakes were.

Go for a tasting and pick up some pastries while you're there. The doberge is to die for.

We purchased our wedding & groom cake from Maurice's. We had a credit from the reception venue, so we only had to cover part of the groom's cake. Jean coordinated with us on the cake & she was very friendly & flexible to work with us to make sure that we got what we were looking for. The wedding cake was beautiful & delicious. The groom's cake was also delicious; I recommend their chocolate with raspberry filling. The only downside was that the bakery somehow lost two of the cake pulls; fortunately, my wedding planners replaced them later.
