Awesome LEMON-LAVENDER cake!!!! We (and all our guests) LOVED our cake and their mother-daughter cottage business. They did not charge anything extra for adding lavender flavoring like other more expensive cake places. Plus, at our tasting, they had a beautiful, quaint set-up in their own kitchen at their house. AND, they offered to make a miniature cake for us for our 1 year anniversary so that we don't have to eat frozen, icky cake that's too old!!!!!

We didn't have a lot of money in our cake budget and they were really able to work within our range. The cake was pretty and tasted delicious. Cakes from hear wouldn't show up in a bridal magazine but definitely feel like if you have a fairly simple cake, and a small budget, you will be happy with your cake. They were quick to respond, met me at my house and drew the cake out for me on-site. I even added a last minue color a week before the wedding and it worked out great.

We found Masterpiece Cake Design by doing a search online of cake vendors in our area, sorry I can't remember what search engine site. We called them and set up an appointment with Jamie who later came by to meet us along with some samples of their product. We were impressed by how moist the cake was and how smooth and tasty the buttercream frosting was. We next discussed how we wanted the design to be on the cake, which Jamie offered some ideas that would match with the wedding colors. Although we did meet with other cake vendors before and after meeting with Jamie, I couldn't believe how much people charge for "cake" and a nice design for feeding 120 people. So we decided to go with Masterpiece Cake Design because their cake was just as good if not better than other places but without the high mark up. They drew a picture of the cake to show what is would look like once completed to which we were highly pleased. The day of the wedding, they showed up on time and placed the cake in the designated place with no problems. We had a lot of compliments on the design and how good the cake was.
