Unless you want to MISS your wedding, then I’d highly suggest finding a real MUA! This girl tried to cancel on my trial due to illness and when I said that was perfectly fine and asked when I would expect my 150% refund (as detailed in contract), then she magically was able to come do the trial but showed up 3 HOURS LATE!!! She claimed that she “missed the exit” but literally the next exit is 5 minutes away not 3 hours. She then proceeded to make me (not just late, like literally the wedding ceremony has ended) miss the wedding of one of my best friends that I was supposed to attend that night!!!! I specifically told her that I needed to leave my house at 6pm! Like hair in rollers and caked on makeup that I could not leave the house in!!! She said “If it makes you feel any better I’m late to date night.” Like what??? Date nights can be rescheduled, weddings can’t!! This girl then proceeded to IGNORE ME about how to proceed considering that we had a contract! I then informed her in writing that I would like to cancel and per the contract she could keep my non-refundable deposit ($100) and refund me the rest of the money that she so desperately needed me to pay early, and she said she didn’t have the money anymore!!!! She literally spent money that she had not earned. It took building a case for small claims court and contacting a lawyer to get my money refunded! I then feel bad for the girl since she’s obviously in a hard place, and I forgave her once she refunded me. Fast forward 2 months later I’m scrolling through a wedding group that has members from all over the USA and Canada, and I read a post that creepily sounds similar to my situation.. to my surprise the girl said that she was located in NOLA and was in fact in a contract with Mandi Lee, who GUESS WHAT?! WAS SCREWING OVER THIS POOR GIRL TOO!!!!! Please save yourself the hassle and peace of mind by not doing business with one of the sketchiest and rudest person I’ve met. Also her LLC IS REVOKED!!!!!
