After my makeup trial, I was speechless. Looking in the mirror, I felt like I had an Instagram filter on in real life—it was that flawless! On the wedding day, she absolutely nailed it again. My makeup photographed beautifully and lasted through July humidity, summer storms, and a full night of dancing.

Beyond her incredible skill, Carissa is such a fun, positive, and calming presence to have in the bridal suite. She brings the best energy and truly goes above and beyond for her brides. This girl comes prepared—not only did she provide thoughtful touch-up kits for me and my bridesmaids, but she also packed essentials like straws, safety pins, and all the little “just in case” items every bride should have. I hired Carissa (Glam Guru) to do makeup for my wedding. She did my makeup as well as the makeup of 4 bridesmaids, my mom, and my grandma. Everyone loved their makeup and looked absolutely beautiful!
