Alyssa was hired to do makeup for my brothers wedding. I was nervous to have someone else do my make up but WOW! Just WOW!!! Alyssa is absolutely AMAZING. I looked like a model. After a devastating loss of a child, my now husband and I decided to still proceed with getting married. I was having a very hard time thinking of all the details. My brother found Alyssa for my makeup. Not only was she available at last minute request, she showed up and made me and my mom look amazing. She was calm which helped me stay relaxed and at the same time full of empathy for what we just went through. 4 months later we decided to have 'trash the dress' session and Alyssa did my makeup exactly how it was on my wedding day. Alyssa was a great makeup artist! Two big things to consider when hiring the right makeup artist for you is talent AND personality. She was a great listener, fun to be around, gave off positive vibes and also did everyone's makeup perfectly tailored to the person. I am pretty particular about my makeup and she was able to create a wedding look that I loved. Wedding prep can be stressful and frenzied but having Alyssa there who has been doing this for so long was helpful and she made it a fun glam session.
