This highway accessible lodge has all the modern conveniences in a wilderness setting. The mountainous, alpine setting is ideal for beautiful photographs.
The spacious 7000 square foot hand scribed log lodge may seat up to about 125 people in the dining area and lounge. The covered porch offers an area for additional seating in the summer months. Larger groups over 125 enjoy buffet style service in a stand up style reception with partial seating.
A plated meal –or combination of plated and buffet- are conducive for groups 125 and below.
The large, open dining room with wood floor is ideal for bands, DJ’s, dancing, and power point or slide projection presentations. A sound system, with cd player or device hook-up, and wi-fi are free for guests to use for their event. Parties may elect to bring in their own exterior sound system. Electrical outlets are available adjacent to the lawn ceremony site for weddings.
Majestic Valley can accommodate 42 people with triple occupancy in the 8 Glacier Hall Rooms, 4 Lodge Rooms, and 2 Cabins. Please go to the accommodations tab for the bed dynamics and amenities in each room or cabin. If your group exceeds the sleeping capacity of Majestic Valley, we recommend that overflow may be booked at Tundra Rose Guest Cottages, Homestead Guest Cabins, Sheep Mountain Lodge, Matanuska Lodge, Long Rifle Lodge or Eureka Lodge. They are all within the Glacier View Community between 2 and 20 miles from Majestic Valley Lodge. You may also arrange for tent or dry RV camping for $15 per tent or RV. Full RV hookups are available at Grand View just 6 miles down the highway.
Wedding ceremonies occur in various locations on the property: dining room, covered porch, or outside on the grass lawn with the complimentary wedding arbor. We have also hosted couples that have gotten married on the Matanuska Glacier with a reception following at Majestic Valley Lodge. Wild flowers, trees, flower gardens, and hanging flower baskets adorn the natural mountainous backdrop.
