Ashlyn was a dream come true! She did my hair a make-up for all of my pre-wedding needs over the last 8 months. She is truly a dream to work with!
We met at the San Jose Bridal Expo in November of 2014. After I met her, I could not imagine having anyone else do my hair and makeup! She was always quick to respond to e-mails and was super friendly and kind.
During my trial run, she asked about my style preferences and took pictures of me to see all angles of my hair and make-up. On the day-of she was patient with my four young flower girls, who were just having eye shadow and lip gloss. She also was fantastic with my mom and I, to help get us ready for the long, long day ahead of us. My make-up looked amazing all night, I got so many compliments.

Ashlynn did an AMAZING job on my makeup and hair for my wedding. She brought an assistant who also did a great job. Between the two of them they took care of my 5 bridesmaids and both my mom and my husband’s mom. She comes with a wealth of knowledge and training in the makeup world through both her education and previous jobs at makeup counters. It was very important to me that my makeup look natural as I have a low-maintenance every day routine. She definitely came through in making me look like an enhanced version of myself instead of a different person. All of my bridesmaids and the two moms were thrilled with the outcome and we got lots of compliments from our wedding guests. Our photos looked amazing and everyone looked like themselves—just a little better.
Ashlynn is very down to earth and easy going. She has good advice about skin care and is knowledgeable about what works best for wedding photos. When I went in for my trial she took lots of notes on what I wanted and took numerous pictures when she had created a look that I liked. She was great on the day of and helped me to come up with a time schedule that would allow her to get through all of the girls on time. My only complaint is that it sometimes took her awhile to get back to me when I emailed or left a voicemail. When I first contacted her, she responded immediately so I assumed that’s how it would be later on. However, sometimes it would be a week or more before she would respond to emails and sometimes I had to call as a follow up. It was just a bit nerve wracking when leading up to the wedding when I had some last minute answers that I needed question to. She gave me a small discount to compensate so at least she acknowledged it was an issue. All in all, I would still recommend her to friends as she was there and ready to go on the day of and she did a perfect job!
