I can't bestow enough praise upon Barbara Hofer and her team. Macari is simply the most beautiful choice of a true vineyard wedding that is elegant and authentic. Barbara also made everything so easy and her advice on vendor selection and overall organization is unparalleled. She is extremely invested in making your day perfect and we absolutely had that experience of a perfect wedding!

Barbara and the team at Macari Vineyards are incredible. My mom and I ventured out to the North Fork and probably visited 15 vineyards in one day in search for my wedding venue. Immediately, I knew I wanted Macari. I read a ton of reviews about how amazing Barbara was to work with....and I can say that after working with her to plan this wedding I can back up those statements. She runs a tight ship at the vineyard....which when you're a bride is much appreciated! She made the whole process so easy and was very responsive to all emails and calls, especially leading up to the our wedding date. Both our ceremony and reception were held at Macari - we had the most beautiful background for our wedding. The venue is beautiful, the staff is flexible and very accommodating, and after looking at many venues as well as attending a few North Fork weddings...I can honestly say that Macari has something so unique and special!

Although there are many wineries which host weddings on the North Fork of Long Island, no others need to be considered. Macari is simply the best. Barbara and her staff ensured that we had a wonderful experience from preplanning to saying goodnight. She advised and suggested many elements of the day and was a consummate professional. Nothing was left to chance and our guests loved it. The time flew by, so not having to think about timing and sequence that day was so important. I will continue to recommend Macari for their wines but now for their management of our daughter's wedding too! Just perfect.

My husband and I gave wine bottles from Macari Vineyards as our wedding favors and they turned out to be a huge hit! A big thanks to Tommy for being so easy to work with and for helping us pick out just the right wine. My husband was born and raised in Long Island, however, we are living in southern NJ now and it meant a lot to have a taste of "home" at our wedding and to share it with our guests.

First time we laid eyes on Macari Vineyards was May of 2013. We went there for a wine tasting and fell in love with the venue! After we left, we jokingly talked about "getting married there" and how beautiful and perfect that wedding would be. We live in Florida so never thought we could afford to have a wedding in Long Island. 8 months later, we're engaged and trying to find where to have our wedding...first thought was Macari! I called and spoke with the event coordinator, Barbara and the price was exactly what we were looking for! From there on, everything went sooo smoothly! Barbara was such a big help and let me ship boxes to her at the vineyard and the day of, she set everything up for me. It all turned out exactly as I dreamed it would! It was the absolute best wedding I could've ever imagined! We literally got married IN the vineyards! Couldn't have found anything more romantic than that! Everyone was blown away by the venue and they still talk about it! Everyone says it was the best wedding they have been to. Would highly recommend Macari and Barbara!

I cannot say enough good things about Macari Vineyards or Barbara, their event manager I felt at home there from the day we went to our first walkthrough and tasting till the day of our wedding (and into the future)! I plan corporate events and was completely wowed by Barbara’s warmth, helpfulness, attention to detail and passion. Our guests were so impressed with the venue, wine and service staff. I used many of Barbara’s recommendations (caterer, dj, florist) and they all ended up being awesome. It will be so nice to have a special place that we can still go back to and enjoy for many years to come!

I also really agree with the reviewer who noted that they had a good rain plan. To me reserving a tent in case it rains is not a good plan b for a wedding day. That is NOT the case at Macari and the indoor ceremony would have been disappointing but still really awesome!

We chose the venue for three reasons: 1. we wanted to have an outdoor ceremony but a nice contingency plan for rain; 2. we wanted a place with a day-of event coordinator; 3. we wanted something that would feel intimate but comfortable for about 130 people. Macari was the perfect choice. The grounds and house were beautiful. I loved that we could walk through the vines. And Barbara, the woman who managed our wedding, was wonderful! I can't even praise her enough. She was completely professional and helpful from the moment we viewed the venue to our wedding day.

When we decided we wanted a vineyard wedding, we went to almost every vineyard on the north and south fork and fell in love with Macari instantly. Not only is Macari a visually a perfect place for a wedding with the ceremony site in the vineyard, cocktail hour under the covered deck and reception inside a larger air conditioned (or heated) room, and has the ability to hold the ceremony indoors in case of inclement weather, but Barbara and the staff at Macari are hands down the most responsive, professional, warm people we worked in planning our wedding. On the day of our wedding it did rain during the cocktail hour and we were able to still have it outside under the covered deck and the guests barely knew it was raining. The venue was perfect for the amount of people we were planning on having at our wedding (80-90 people). Our guests haven't stopped commenting on how beautiful the setting was. Thank you Macari!

The venue was perfect. The vineyard was all green, the wine was of course great and the service was perfect. Barbara was by far the best planner I met and we spoke with dozens of vineyards. She kept in touch with us but never pressure us regardless of how much procrastinating I did. We trusted her judgement with much of the planning at the vineyard and we were right to do so. It was beautiful and I liked that they had the ability to cater to our 40 person wedding. I can say no more, perfect venue and staff!!!!
