Incredibly poor quality of service from Lulu. I hired her to do a trial for my wedding hair and makeup based on a recommendation from my coordinator in the Fall of 2017 We booked a day for her to come over and do my trial at my home. She did not provide a contract for the trial prior to it happening. She seemed pleasant when I met her and she came to my house. She spent 4 hours making me look AWFUL. The first style she did for my hair was tight, ugly curls, so I asked for a bun instead. The bun was lopsided and I specified to her that I wanted a braid. The braid was so small it was barely seen in the photos she took after. The makeup was washed out, all basically one color for lips, eyes and cheek, and she didn't even apply it all the way to my hairline. My lashes were poorly applied and it was just a mess. I was exhausted and tired and I told her when she left that there were many changes to be made, but I was satisfied at the time, mostly I just wanted her to leave my house because she just took SO LONG to do anything and my fiance had come home. I emailed within 48 hours outlining my concerns. I let her know specifically what issues I had with her work, and I only asked for a retrial since I wanted to make sure that my makeup artist was going to be up to par and I was very dissatisfied with her work. She was rude and dismissive in her email, saying my issues were "small" and she would offer me another PAID retrial. Why would I pay her to come and make me look like trash again? She chalked up the poor quality of the photos to bad lighting, but she forgot her power cord for her professional light on the day of my trial. Lulu then started telling me her refund/return policies AFTER the service was provided, and her website provided no policies/fine print. She was overall rude, unprofessional, and just a bad makeup/hair artist. People who I showed the photos of her work to said it looked sloppily done, that it was lazy, and that the look was not bridal at all.
