Located in downtown Lubbock, the facility has 1500 onsite free parking spaces. The central location of the Civic Center provides easy access to hotels, the Depot District, a variety of restaurants, shopping, Texas Tech University, and Preston Smith International Airport.

As a bonus, Lubbock's ticketing system, Select-a-Seat, is located in the Civic Center. Now ticketing operations are available daily onsite for the convenience of our ticketed events. This is just one more way the Civic Center is committed to successful events.

We used the Terrace Suite and the Mezzanine for our wedding. Everything worked out great. The rooms were set up as asked.

We held our wedding reception at the Lubbock Civic Center's Terrace Suite. The room was set up exactly as we had requested and our guests had no problem finding the room. However there was also a Roller Derby that night downstairs in the main ballroom which we were not informed of. It made for some really funny stories, but at times their music was a little disruptive. Also it was the first 100+ degree weather day and some how the AC got temporarily turned off in the room. They did remedy the problem, but our guests were uncomfortable for a little bit. On the whole they were a great fit for our wedding. However if you want to serve alcohol, or want to be the only event at your venue you should consider looking at another location.
