The wonderful staff at LowCountry Bridal helped me to find the perfect dress for a Hawaii wedding and with 30 minutes notice! They were beyond flexible in shipping, communication and made the entire dress buying experience fun for myself and my whole bridal party. Christina is the most kind and honest shop owner. Since I was on a tight timeline, I was actually by myself for dress shopping because all of my family and friends lived in another state. I was feeling a little uneasy about this at first, but Christina made me feel so comfortable and at ease in no time - she took care of everything and gave some really thoughtful advice about each dress that I tried on. I had other appointments lined up in Savannah and Charleston, but ended up right back at LowCountry Bride and Gown. She made the entire process very easy and the fact that you can text her at any time and get a response is so convenient! She even offered to steam my dress a couple days before the wedding. When I was there and explained how I had lost so much weight that my dress still wasn't fitting right after several alterations, she provided the name and number of a seamstress that could do quick work and was known to fix things other seamstresses said they could not. Sure enough, this seamstress made my dress fit better and I was so thankful to have gotten that advice from Christina. I would refer any bride to LowCountry Bride and Gown!

Christina was the absolute best. She texted me after I made an appointment to learn exactly what I wanted and had dresses within my price range lined up when I arrived. I was skeptical shopping local and with a smaller selection, but not only did I find the perfect dress, but it was also a tough competition! Christina was amazing. I loved all the gowns she pulled, but found my special gown a few dresses in. She did an amazing job listening to what I wanted and had several already waiting. Throughout the appointment she adjusted slightly based on my feedback and what looked good on me.

Our initial conversation was over the phone, and once I provided her with a few photos of the style of dress I wanted, she assured me she had options she thought I would love. The quaintness of a small shop and having Christina's undivided attention made my "Say Yes to the Dress" experience a fun and easy one. The gown I chose was very reasonably priced. Christina was able to make suggestions for accessories and recommended a great seamstress. She kept me posted on delivery and I was very pleased with the entire process. If you've started looking at dresses, you know that with a budget of $1,000, many places will laugh at you and tell you they don't have anything in your price range. Christina was so understanding and was willing to bend over backwards to help me find the perfect dress at the right price. I came in and tried on some dresses, and quickly realized that I really wanted a tea length dress. She didn't have any at the time, but a few weeks later, she emailed me and said she had received a tea length dress and she thought of me. I was honestly surprised that she had remembered me, and touched that she cared so much about helping me find what I was looking for.
I came into her lovely store for a second time and tried the dress on, and I immediately fell in love with it. She was so helpful, and she even let me come in the week of my wedding for her to steam my dress and veil to make sure they were in tip-top shape.
Christina truly could not have been lovelier, and I'm so grateful that I found Low Country Bride & Gown! I can't recommend her enough!

I found Bride and Gown as an alternative to expensive stores that were out of budget. When I got there, the owner helped me until the stylist arrived. Both were fantastic! After trying on a few dresses, the stylist pulled one that was slightly out of my comfort zone, and I ended up falling in "like." After some back and forth, the owner pulled one that had more tulle, but otherwise exactly the same, and I ended up loving it! I got my dream wedding dress for $400, when it was originally worth almost $2,000. Highly recommend this store! Very sweet staff, wonderful selection, and more than reasonable pricing.

The owner was amazing she actually listed to what I was looking for in a wedding dress. Every dress matched exactly what I was looking which is a big deal when you are looking for a dress! I loved every single dress she showed me but the 3rd dress I tried on was it for me! She has great quality dresses for amazing prices!

Cristina is fantastic. This was my first and only stopped when looking for my gown. She was great about allowing me to try on a variety of styles, giving unbiased opinions to really help me find the perfect dress. She responds very quickly to email and is very helpful with any questions or concerns. I was dreading this process (I'm not a size 0 and hate clothes shopping), but she made it fun and something I look back on and still smile about.
