Loon Mountain Resort provides couples with a truly unique outdoor ceremony setting. You and your guests can travel in style to your mountain-top ceremony spot via a charming gondola. At the top of Loon Peak sits the stunning Summit Amphitheater. This setting offers seating for up to 200 guests to witness your heartfelt ceremony against the breathtaking backdrop of the White Mountains. This amazing venue offers a far-reaching natural vista and truly unique photography opportunities to encapsulate the momentous day. Once back at the mountain base, a fairytale-worthy reception event can begin in the beautiful Octagon Lodge. Named for its shape, this room provides a warm and inviting atmosphere combined with rustic decor. The Octagon supplies panoramic views via the surrounding window-wall, which allows your event to be brightened by natural light. The interior boasts a floor-to-ceiling stone-fronted fireplace, wood-paneled walls and bar area, and large timber ceiling-beams adorned with string lights to create a fairytale feel. A polished dance floor provides the natural focal point of the room around which a seating plan for up to 200 guests can be arranged. Outside, loved ones can enjoy the mountain air as they warm themselves by the large fire pits. This patio area offers the ideal space to stargaze and enjoy the surrounding tranquility.

The mostly all‑inclusive packages, praised food, and delighted guests make it highly recommended.
Made Our Wedding Memorable
What made us choose Loon was that it was nearly an all inclusive package. It had the summit for the ceremony with built in seating, it had the octogon lodge for the reception or for use in the event of bad weather, and everything you needed for a meal with no further rentals (table, chairs, table cloths, plates,...etc.). The food was great! We heard wonderful things about the meals from the guests afterwards and Loon was very accommodating of dietary restrictions / allergies. It was weird to not be able to do a tasting in advance, so it was a relief everything came out delicious.
Overall, we had such a great time and couldn't imagine our wedding anywhere else!
