Bonnie is the wedding contact at Portofino Bay Hotel. She was very helpful with all of our questions in the beginning of our search. Everything we needed was right there at the hotel. The food was amazing. The Bridal Suite was amazing. The ceremony site was amazing. My mother and stepfather said that they couldn't believe how well organized the hotel was with every detail. A beautiful place to have a wedding. We would certainly choose the Portofino Bay Hotel again if we needed to!

The Venetian Ballroom at Loews Portofino Bay Hotel at Universal looked absolutely stunning on the night of my daughter's wedding to Patrick. The venue, the service, the food, and our overall satisfaction couldn't have been better. My daughter and her husband, my wife and I, and all involved were absolutely thrilled!

I literally had the best baby shower I could've ever imagined! This by far was the most beautiful venue and the food was so delicious. Most of my guests would also agree and felt like the event was top notch because of the venue alone. I would definitely plan another celebration at this hotel.

We got married on the balcony of BICE at the Portofino Resort. Everything here from the service, to the location were top notch. The Portofino provides picturesque photo ops and is ultimately, one of the most romantic locations any girl could ever ask for as a backdrop to her wedding day!

Absolutely stunningly beautiful location! The service standards on the premises exceeded our expectations and all staff members were so accommodating. We worked with Bonnie Garfield in their wedding dept. and every email, phone conversation, and surprise visit to the location was well handled! I always got the answers I needed in a timely fashion.

Bonnie with the Portofino Bay Hotel played a key role in making our dreams come true! With the beautiful grounds and culture-influenced service, nothing could compare to the Portofino. This hotel was host to one amazing evening. The food was delicious, the accommodations were untouchable and the individuality was undeniable. The Venetian Ballroom was heaven on Earth. Cocktail hour in the Citrus Piazza was unique and delightful. As long as you are ok with being nickel-and-dimed (which, unfortunately, is protocol for such service), this is the place for you. If you are looking for dynamite pictures of your new spouse and yourself, classy and artistic backdrops for your bridal party, or a lovely portrait on the GORGEOUS spiral staircase, I suggest you check out the Portofino Bay Hotel.

I have never had better food at a wedding and all my guests agree! The serving staff was very kind and professional, the venue was beautiful. It was a beautiful day in every way. I would give 5 stars all around but there were some billing errors in our final bill that I feel could have been handled better. The catering manager Lori is not always the most personable. I recommend that you hire a planning service like Just Marry to liase with the hotel and make sure everything goes according to plan. But overall it was a dream come true and I wish we could do it again!
