My husband purchased my engagement ring from Littmans at the Wyoming Valley Mall. They were by his account great to work with during the initial purchase. I had to have my ring re-sized and when it came back the rhodium hadn't been re-applied properly so I had to send it away to be re-dipped. I was not sized properly and had to have it re-sized a second time. Because they did not explain the policy properly to my husband when he purchased the engagement ring I was not aware that I HAD to take my ring in to be cleaned every six months. When I took it in to be cleaned at the Viewmont Mall prior to our wedding, over a year after it was purchased, I was informed that I was outside the terms of the lifetime guarantee and they would re-instate it once without a fee.
We went shopping for our wedding bands at Littmans and while we found my husband's right away, I did not feel that the sale associates were listening to me. I was clear that I did not want a diamond band, that we had a firm budget, and that we wanted our rings to match as closely as possible. They did not have me try on any black titanium bands that would have matched his, instead they kept pressuring me into trying on diamond bands that were way over our budget.
When my husband ending up needing his wedding band re-sized they were very accommodating. Since his band is titanium it cannot be re-sized, a new ring had to be ordered. We weren't sure if they would take his bad as we'd already had it engraved but they did and his new band arrived much sooner than was expected. I feel like the quality of the service truly depends on which sales associate a customer happens to get.
